Title: A solid corrosion-resistant adjustable above-ground water pressure regulator which which should last
Review: I ordered this Stmoutuo model MT-PRV03 water pressure regulator (Amazon ASIN B0DHLKN3HJ) because there is too much pressure in my inlet water. For the purpose of lowering that pressure from about 70 psi to about 50 psi, this brass water pressure regulator does the job.It was not hard installing it above ground, nor in an horizontal upright (or vertical) position as the instructions suggest (as the instructions forbid installing the regulator upside down), but scale may be a problem over time as I have very hard water even as the regulator is designed with low-adhesion plastics which can shed a certain amount of built-up scale. For water pumped out of tanks, this regulator came with three removable screens, which was a nice touch but the nicest additional touch was the Phillips/Flathead stubby screwdriver that came with the unit is one of the best I’ve ever seen supplied in a kit that wasn’t specifically a screwdriver kit. It’s beautiful.My application doesn’t feel water hammering, which the instructions said was the most damaging thing that can happen to these delicate pressure regulators. It’s too early to clean the inner cartridge under the adjusting screw, but I love that it is easily removed for cleaning.To clarify the Amazon listing which says the unit comes with “Raw Tape”, it came with enough typical PTFE tape or plumber’s tape, which is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film tape to coat the threads, where in the industry, Teflon tape is sometimes called “raw tape” because the tape is essentially the raw PTFE material in tape form, without any additional coatings or adhesives.To further clarify what had confused me about the Amazon listing is that BOTH the female input & male output are typical 3/4-inch garden hose GHT threads, so you will have no problem hooking a typical USA outdoor garden hose plumbing to this unit at both ends.If the type of brass matters to you, the box says it’s “C46500 brass”, which is a type of copper alloy commonly known as Naval Brass or sometimes Arsenical Brass. It’s a specific blend of copper, zinc, tin, and arsenic, giving it a unique set of properties that make it suitable for corrosion resistance in harsh environments.I hope this heartfelt effort at providing a reliably detailed fact-based review has earned your respect in helping you make a more informed purchasing decision.

Title: Good Rv water pressure regulator
Review: This STMOUTUO Rv water pressure regulator appears to be the same as the very popular Renator model. Except it’s a little less expensive. This style water pressure regulator was pretty unique and exciting when the Renator first came out. But now these have pretty much become the standard with their ability to turn a set screw or knob and adjust the water pressure. This one seams to be made quite well. It looks good and works as it should.

Title: Initial Use Is Good
Review: My expensive brand name one didn’t last a year, I believe it works but the gauge no longer shows what the pressure is so it’s essentially useless if I don’t know that. This one so far as worked but we’ll see if it survives over a year like the expensive one couldn’t.

Review: If you want to be sure your water line to your RV is not putting too much pressure into your system, you need a pressure gauge. This is a useful tool. Different RV parks will have different pressures.

Title: Made of durable brass, easy to install.
Review: Pre-set at 45 PSI, the regulator allows for easy adjustments up to 160 PSI, accommodating various water pressure requirements. I use it for our RV and leave it at the factory 45 PSI setting.Made from lead-free brass, it seems to be durable and should last a very long time.The pressure valve came with a pressure gauge for real-time pressure monitoring which is easy to read, two strainers to filter out impurities, a 2-in-1 screwdriver for installation, and raw tape to prevent leaks. It was nice to have the correct size screwdriver included and the plumbers tape too.

Title: Hate the screwdriver
Review: Returned. Get the one that doesn’t need a screwdriver to adjust. You might never have to adjust it after the 1st time but if you do , do you really want to have to go looking for a screwdriver.
