Title: Emits ample light but wiring is a mess.
Review: I’m giving this lighting 4 out of 5 stars. The lighting itself is just fine. There is a switch adjacent to the on/off toggle switch which you can use to change the warmth of the lighting (3000k, 4000k, 5000k). This is a nice feature as you can play around with the temperature of the lighting to find out what works best for your environment. I’m docking this one star because the wiring that is tucked into the back of the unit is a spaghetti mess. If you go the hardwiring route, you’ll need to pull the wiring out of the back and let me tell you … that was the most challenging part of the installation. Really! It took forever to get those 3 wires out and the whole time I was afraid I might be tugging on them a bit too much.

Title: Nice LED Light
Review: This was used for under cabinet kitchen counter lighting. I bought it for its ability to select light color and also the ability to change light coverage by rotating LED assembly. Dimming capability was not used. Good construction, small size, and good light brightness is a plus. The 5 foot three wire power cord was too short for my application. Using the supplied hardware to connect an external 8′ cord was a bit difficult for under counter mounting but worth the effort. Shorter wire clamp screws were required.

Title: Great adjustable under counter light and great customer support!
Review: I got the Matane Dimmable LED 17″ Under Cabinet Lighting for my wife who had been complaining for years about needing lighting for the kitchen work areas under the cabinets. The light assembly is 17″ long which is what I wanted for one stretch under two cabinets. It also has 3 light temperatures you can switch between, 3000K, 4000K and 5000K. I thought the 5000K was the best for our use, but my wife prefers the 4000K, so guess which is the default setting for us?! The light assembly also pivots to point the light toward the area you need lighting for. A nice touch as you have more flexibility on where you mount the fixture. I opted for the wired option vs other rechargeable units as I did not want the hassle of recharging every few weeks or months. This unit has the ability to daisy chain additional units and I’ll be getting another one for an adjacent area. Overall, it’s a sturdy unit, works well, has 3 different color temperatures to choose from (and you can switch between them as you wish), and did I mention great customer support? My first unit had an odd issue with the 3000K temperature setting, and customer support immediately sent me a replacement issue. I’m a happy camper, and my wife loves the additional lighting in the kitchen! I highly recommend this unit if you are looking for a wired under counter LED fixture!

Title: Nice light; hardwiring not easy
Review: If I could give this light two different ratings, I would: 5 stars for the product as a plug-in and 3 stars as a hardwired fixture. I split the difference and gave it 4 stars. I ordered two of these fixtures to replace an old fluorescent tube light under our kitchen cabinet. Initially I had ordered just one, but after opening the box and seeing that the light was designed so that two (or more) could be connected together, I placed an order for another one.This is a very versatile light with three selectable color temperatures, a variety of installation options, and the ability to rotate so the illumination can be directed outward. It’s also pretty easy to install if plugged into a wall outlet.Hardwiring this fixture is a different story. First of all, the instructions seem to be for one of their longer models of the same light, because the little illustrations don’t look quite like the 11″ model. It says to remove a locking screw, but I couldn’t figure out how to do that, so I basically had to destroy the screw to remove it. It mentions installing an included strain relief collar, but I didn’t see how it could possibly be attached to this 11″ model. There are two little slots in the back of the fixture to slide the house wiring into, but they’re too narrow to accommodate my house’s thick wires. As a workaround, I had to slide the light’s wires out through the slots, connect all of the wire pairs together outside of the light housing, and figure out a way to secure the excess wiring behind the fixture.Included in the box are two different types of connectors to chain two (or more) of these lights together, which is a very nice option. Initially, I wanted to connect my two lights with the small, double-ended connector that looks like it should allow the lights to be mounted flush against each other, but that resulted in a half inch gap or so. Instead, I used the short cord with connectors on each end and mounted the lights a few inches apart.After putting the unnecessarily tedious installation process behind me, I’m happy with these lights. They’re much brighter than the fluorescent light they replaced, and I like that I can select a more neutral color temperature.

Title: Excellent Undercabinet Lights
Review: Installed 5 of these under our kitchen cabinets replacing an older set. They are extremely bright and really light up the kitchen. I don’t see any use for the rotating light source, but it might be useful in some circumstances. The 3 choices of color are nice to have.

Title: Bad Broken Wiring. No Port For Hardwiring
Review: I love the size of this light, but was unable to install it due to poor soldering/broken wire connections. Also, it shows a plate in the back that can be removed to hardwire it and there was no plate. We will have to drill or cut a hole in the metal body.
