Title: Great – but be sure to order the right one.
Review: These items are fantastic. Be aware that there are 3 sizes (at least). Check the lumen ratings. I wanted a “big one” like a friend brought on a trip. It turns out his was the 300 lumen “Titan”. There is also a mid-sized 150 (or 200) lumen job, as well as a little one (75 lumens) that I bought by mistake. Their products are great, but their marketing sucks.At any event, the little 75 I ordered by mistake should be ideal for backpacking if not for car camping.

Title: The battery lasts for a long time.
Review: I bought a cheaper one for camping. These are great because they will give off just enough light and last for hours. This is my third one but the first of the more expensive and bigger ones.Now I live outside the US and have one just in case the power goes out. I know it will provide light until the next day.

Title: Works but probably not functional
Review: Used this during a recent power outage. It was SUPER bright. I was very happy with the product however -I will say that I charged it in a wall socket. I do feel this is slightly expensive and also feel that 16-18 hours in direct sunlight is probably not feasible in a camping or natural disaster situation to keep up with a full charge.

Review: I have previously had the smaller version of the luminaid but finally decided to upgrade and I’m so glad I did!It’s larger which means more light and a bigger solar panel! It charges so well and produces a long lasting light that is perfect for camping or an emergency kit.I haven’t tested the phone charger yet but given luminaid’s track record with making products that just work I’m sure it will.Recommend

Review: I’ve had the smaller version of this lantern for about a year now and love it so much for camping, or even for power outages so when I saw this version I knew I had to try it out and I’m so glad I did.Just used this sweet little unit camping in the backcountry where it gets VERY dark at night. One thing I’ve learned over the years, is that you can never have enough light out there. This lantern puts out a lot of light at the highest setting, almost too much in my tent, so I used the second or third dimmest setting the most – which also saves the most power so that’s a bonus too. I also used it to charge my Apple Watch one day and it charged it within 20 minutes!! My charger at home is much longer so I’m really impressed with how much power this unit puts out.Only downside is how long it takes to recharge in the sun – but it is a small solar panel so guess that is expected. Next time I’m out camping, I’ll use my power bank to charge electronics and keep the lantern for lights and for charging when I have no other choice. you know, just in case it gets rainy and I can’t charge with solar.Overall,, I love this company and the lanterns they sell. They’re great quality in a world filled with Meh quality items – I will definitely be purchasing more.
