Title: Strong moo 🐮 power
Review: Maybe we got lucky, but thankfully this moo can was a proper moo sound and loud. Our baby boy’s favorite “talk to me” toy is a canvas cow stuffed with a moo can from Panda Crate. The moo box broke, so we bought this can to replace it and I did some sewing to fix his stuffed animal so it moos. It worked out perfectly, the moo is loud enough to be heard through the fabric!

Title: Meh, not moo
Review: Not like the toys I remember as a child. You get like one second, or less, of a pitiful moo sound. I ended up taking it apart so I could use the sound maker elsewhere.

Title: Silly fun. No, there isn’t really a cow in there
Review: I bought this toy because of its association with “Despicable Me”; I was doing a search on the movie and it came up, and it was just enough to qualify me for free shipping on my purchase. It came and my 4-year-old son was simply entranced by it; he walked around the house making it moo everywhere.Unfortunately, the toy didn’t survive first contact with my 2-year-old daughter; she threw it out a second story window and it smashed on the driveway. The toy is a plastic cylinder approx 3″ x 1.5″; it contains a relatively heavy weight that makes it work which weighs approx 4-5oz. This was the cause of its demise, but it may also be a cause for concern if your intent is to buy it for your toddler.Still, we definitely got more than $4 worth of fun out of it in the week we had it; just don’t let your little ones throw it around and you’ll love it!

Title: Sounds more like a sick goat than a happy cow
Review: OK, so I was not expecting a zoologically accurate cow moo maker, especially for this price. However, the only cow-like thing about this product is the tasteful cow motif print. I’m not a board-certified animal noise expert, but I have been around enough farm animals to know that this product produces a sound closer to a goat than a cow. Specifically a goat which has made poor life decisions and has some regrets. The duration of the advertised “mooooo!” Is about one second, certainly shorter than the product’s label suggests on which they spelled “moo” with a cheeky five os. As if. If you are looking for a toy which more accurately represents the authentic call of the noble cow, I suggest that you “mooooove” past this one and buy something else. Shipping time and packaging were both fine, will not return because it will remind me of some other life choices I have made and later regretted, just like the forlorn and hapless goat stuck inside my Country Cow Noise Maker.

Title: The Good Old Days
Review: Remember when Mom and Dad took you on a driving vacation to some remote campground or resort? Inevitably there would be a gift shop nearby selling souvenirs, and of course you would be inescapably drawn to the “fake arrow through the head” or the “cow can” that mooed when you flipped it over. Alas, the souvenir shops, at least the old ones we revisited, no longer carry most of these items. I guess kids are more tech-oriented now. We purchased this “cow can” as a nostalgic/joke gift for our adult son and hope it reminds him of some of the happy times we spent together when he was growing up. The product is much as I remember it; actually, it seems to be of better quality than the ones that were sold those many years ago. I have not been compensated in any way for this review.

Title: Be careful with shipping/handling charges
Review: The rating is just a warning that if you choose to ship multiples, that any additional expedited shipping charge will be on a PER UNIT basis.I have Amazon Prime and chose expedited shipping for a box of 12 (shown in the picture). I was charged $107.88 for the shipping and handling. Customer service was able to reduce this by 20%, but I think you’ll agree that a single box of 12 doesn’t warrant $86.30 in extra charges (after spending a half hour with customer service).It would be fair were I at the South Pole in the middle of the winter. But not in Seattle.

Title: It works great.
Review: My daughter has a stuffed cow since she was little and the moo can didn’t work any more. I had bought it from a toy party about 35 years ago. She was trying to find another one. I went into Amazon I searched for moo box and this popped up. So I took the cow out of her house without her knowing. Put In the moo cow can and gave It to her for Christmas and she actually cried and gave me the biggest hug. So thank you very much.
