Title: Saved my laptop!
Review: Don’t know how it happened, but the original charge cord for my laptop died, and then so did the laptop – yikes! The laptop isn’t new, so I wasn’t sure what my chances were to find the correct cord for it, but no problem – typed in the model and yes, Amazon had them and could deliver within a couple days. As soon as it arrrived I plugged it in, and hallelujah – laptop charged and everything is working. Have been using the charging cord about a month and no problems – in fact the laptop charges so much faster I’m pretty sure the old one had been having issues for a while! Very happy with this purchase.

Title: Very similar to the oem cord, but terrible
Review: **update to original review: less than 3 months in and this charger is dead. I don’t recommend this product. It was well cared for and not abused, so it is a product fail for me. (Per below my first initial review wasn’t great either…)I was pumped to find a good deal on a replacement cord for my laptop. My puppy did a number on the original. The cord matches the original length, which I find a bit short, so I can’t complain much there. It looks about identical to the original as well. The main problem is the how the cord connects to the laptop. My OEM cord connects nicely and stays plugged in. This cord comes unhooked easily. It lacks “tension” to stay plugged in. If you just have the laptop stationary, and the cord with reasonable slack it is fine. If the laptop and cord are moved a bit, it may come unplugged periodically. I find this to be a major flaw. I did some back and forth comparisons, and it is noticeably different between the 2.
