Title: Finally makes a “premium” audio system sound premium.
Review: I recently bought a 2023 Mazda 3 hatchback and specifically paid extra to get the trim level with the “premium” Bose audio system, but I was immediately let down by the bass. The little 4″ Bose subwoofer just wasn’t cutting it, even with the bass EQ turned to +10 and treble turned to -10.I have it powered by a Kicker Key 500.1 monoamp, which is being fed the signal that originally went to the Bose subwoofer. And let me say, it is PERFECT now. I have the bass and treble EQs back to 0 and it all hits exactly like it should. It doesn’t shake the mirrors or body panels off, but it could totally get it to rattle if you really wanted it to and you tuned your amp right.I love that it fits the back of my Mazda so perfectly and I can throw stuff on top of it. To hold it in place, I’ve actually just screwed some square pieces of ABS plastic into the “feet” of the enclosure, which I’ve stuck some velcro onto. And then I have the opposite side stuck onto the trunk liner I have back there, and that holds it in place perfectly.

Title: Less than 2 months and already blown
Review: Have had it for a couple months hooked up to 500 w rockville with matching ohm….. 2 weeks ago started sounding funny now sounds like a blown speaker. This was my first speaker based on recommendations from Friends on a kicker and I am not very impressed my Rockville is still sounding really really good.

Title: Amazing Bass!
Review: I come from the old school days of Lanzar and Orion Red amps. I’ve installed everything from two fifteens, down to eights in all of my vehicles. Having an Escalade I was concerned about some reviews stating this sub wasn’t big enough for SUVs. While I am unable to speak for their experiences, I can definitely speak for mine. This sub is absolutely perfect! I paired it with a Pioneer 500w RMS amplifier, and this thing performs great! Under no circumstances did I think it would hit as hard, low, and clean as it does. My son and I installed it about a week ago, and I still need to tune the crossover and gain. Even with the bass adapter turned all the way down, and the bass settings on my Kenwood deck low, this Kicker still sounds amazing. I don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to give Kicker credit for such a good product. If my experience changes I’ll update the review. You can’t go wrong with this sub.

Title: Nice and compact size. Sound is 4 out of 5.
Review: Overall sounds good. The deep bass takes a nose dive, because of the lack of air space. Still soild bass though for my wifes van.

Title: Convenient size
Review: Connected these to a 500 RMS Rockville amp connected to a pioneer head unit and push them to the limit many times definitely don’t hit as good as a large box but that’s the sacrifice you make for space.. still sounds really good. If anyone says it blew up, they probably put way too much power to it…. You can’t put a 5000 watt rms amp to a 500w rms sub…..have them in the back of a CRV that I took the backseats out to use as a work truck I throw stuff on them all the time like tool bags and ladders Still holding up just fine

Title: Big Sound, Smaller Package
Review: I recently bought a 10” Kicker hideaway sub (model HS10) to replace the gargantuan box loaded with the 12” Kicker I’ve had for at least a decade. Middle age requires more trunk space than I’d anticipated. Who knew?Anyway, that compact 10 sucked.I mean, I knew I’d have to compromise and the hideaway 10 wouldn’t be as good but, I didn’t expect it to be as bad as it turned out to be. It’s a complete letdown and a disgrace to the brand IMO.I did some looking and stumbled onto shallow loaded boxes like this one. Figured it would have to be an improvement over the hideaway 10— I wasn’t wrong. This shallow 12 performs nearly as well as the beast in a behemoth box that I’ve moved from trunk to trunk over the years.Fair warning, I’m not a bass head and don’t listen to rap. But, for oi, country, street punk, rock, metal, ska, industrial, and classical? I can certainly attest that the sound is VERY impressive.

Review: The Kicker 48TRTP122 TRTP 12-inch sub is perfect if you need powerful bass but have limited space. It fits snugly in small areas without sacrificing sound quality. Really impressed with the punch it delivers despite the slim design.Highly recommend for compact setups!

Review: I love my new Kicker Sub, along with all around Kicker Speakers. It’s all in the Amps. I have 2 Blaupunkt Amps. One just for my sub, my deck is a JVC. On the deck settings there is is five bass level options, 0,1,2,3,4…..I have mine at one, and Trust me it KICKS….and the sounds awsume, not clunky, I was going to grab two for my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab….Thank God I bought just one. I truly believe that Kickers the best sounding speaker system. Even at volume 29, the system is kicking…. Thanks Chris

Review: I was on the edge of what subwoofer to get, I was definitely going to go with kicker but weather it was a cheaper one or a sealed one, I ended up getting this thing, it absolutely pounds, I went from a single 8inch kenwood 300w rms to this and it is night and day, this thing has super good lows and it absolutely worth it, if you are on the edge of getting this, DO IT! It’s incredible. (I have it hooked up to exactly 500w rms) All I gotta do is upgrade my speakers now as they can’t keep up. I’ve seen many reviews saying it blew after so many months but that isn’t the subwoofers fault, it’s the user abusing overpowering/under powering it.

Review: I Bought 2 of these 12 kickers and a Skar Audio 500 watt @1ohm amp,A perfect combination, currently running them in my Camry 2010 with a pioneer head unit. They won’t give you that full vented low bass sound but its close enough, you can definitely feel and hear the bass it’s definitely a big difference like day and night…
