Title: The Legacy of Cast Iron: A Generational Treasure
Review: I’ve always loved my cast-iron skillets; I have two that my mother used when I was growing up. I purchased a couple more because I like using them for homemade pizza; they make a nice crisp crust. When I saw this set, it wasn’t only cast iron, but also a beautiful shade of green, which is my favorite color. I ordered them and impatiently waited for them to arrive. When they arrived, I quickly unboxed them to admire their beauty. They were a handsome set of cookware. As I looked at each piece, I was disappointed with the size of the frying pan. I didn’t notice that when I looked at them online. I do love the ceramic finish on the set; it looks so crisp and clean.I used the pot with the handle to boil eggs. When they had cooked for 5 minutes, I picked it up by its handle; it was hot. Fortunately, my sink was two steps away. I ran the cold water to cool down the eggs. The pot was easily cleaned since there wasn’t any residue from boiling the eggs. The following day, I decided to try out the frying pan. I’m used to using pots and pans coated with a non-stick surface. I placed the fry pan on the burner and set it at medium until the surface was hot enough to fry an egg. I proceeded to break an egg into the pan without using any spray oil. I rapidly realized my mistake. The egg stuck to the pan big time. The egg looked so pretty as it was cooking without any lubrication. I broke the yolk as this egg was being made for an egg and cheese sandwich for my husband. I chose not to take a video of my efforts to get the egg off the pan… it was brutal. I wondered if I could get the remains of the egg off this pan; however, after soaking and scrubbing, it looked new again.I’m sure this cast iron cookware will serve me well. However, the pots and frying pans are heavy, as is iron cookware. I’ll probably use my lightweight cookware more often due to its weight. More likely, I’ll use this beautiful cast-iron cookware for a while and then give it to my daughter, who showed serious interest in it when she saw it. They are so pretty, and functionally, they are what you would expect from cast iron. They are excellent for cooking, frying, baking, and broiling almost anything, and they are also durable. What’s terrific about cast-iron is the ability to pass it down to the younger generation as many times as there are descendants who will use it.

Title: Great value
Review: This set is even prettier in person. I’ve made stews, sauces, and even baked bread in the Dutch oven. Everything heats evenly and stays hot for a long time. It’s heavy, but that just shows the quality. Definitely feels like a premium set without the high price tag.

Title: Everything burns and sticks no matter what not easy to scrub clean
Review: Even cooking on a low heat with butter or oil doesn’t matter everything sticks and it’s so hard to clean! I love the set they are so heavy which is to be expected but I used them on Saturday I kept it cooking on a medium low in one of the pots and my rice burned to the bottom unfortunately it’s now Tuesday and I still can’t get all the burnt off the bottom which is so strange other cast iron items I have it cleans so easily. I do love the color is so pretty

Title: Beautiful set but…
Review: This set is gorgeous! The pots and pan heat up evenly which is always a great thing.They are not easy to clean because the food stick to them super easily regardless of the temperature you use or the type or amount of oil you add.Another thing that got my attention is the lack of stamped brand or country of origin… no idea where are they made…I haven’t use them long enough to be able to say if the enamel will last long or not or if they will chip off soon but the cleaning issue is a deterrent for me.

Title: Beautiful and sturdy but not non stick
Review: This is an absolutely beautiful set of cookware but beware that it is not “non-stick” The cookware itself retains heat well and distributes the heat evenly. I’m still figuring out what to cook in the fry pan. You would not want to fry eggs in it, but keep it too sturdy meats that are soaking in a sauce. Smothered chicken works well in this pan, just wish it was a bit deeper.The Dutch ovens are perfect for cooking pozole and stews and soups. These pans are very heavy so if don’t have hand and arm strength get a helper!Overall, I’m very pleased with this set and will get a lot of use out of them. They also look beautiful in the kitchen.

Title: Heavy Duty
Review: Every pot/pan/lid in this set arrived in great condition as they were very well packaged for shipping. They are heavy, but that is the point since they’re ceramic coated cast iron. They heat well on my induction burners. Food cooks evenly, and they are easy to clean. They are not non-stick, but I wasn’t expecting that. I use avocado oil spray or coconut oil when cooking, and those work well for me on these pans. As with other ceramic coated cast irons, using plastic or wooden cooking utensils keeps these pans from scratching. We have been using these for about a month now and have not had any issues with them.
