Title: Great headband!
Review: Bought this months ago on Amazon and does exactly what it is advertised to do. I should know, as i live in Miami, FL where it isbasically hot most of the year and humid; exclusive of the winter. I walk 4 miles every morning. Wet the bandana and put it on.Works best when there is a breeze or some air movement. If i am lucky, i pass a sprinkler system running and i will re wet theproduct for extra cooling. After an hour, without re wetting, it starts to dry out and doesn’t cool much. For the price, an excellent buy.August 11, 2013. I have used this for walking but also cutting the grass and other household outdoor chores during hot weather here in FL. For a TREAT, put your wet bandana in the freezer for 5 minutes or so….Say yes to cool! After a few minutes it warms up but that quick jolt in the freezer is a winner for me!

Title: Works Great
Review: I got this to wear on my walks. I use it in conjunction with a cooling towel around my shoulders and on hot days it is a lifesaver!And it’s nice and visible, which is very important when walking on the road.the entire bandanna is not cooling, it is the blue strip that absorbs the water and gives the cooling effect, but it settles over the forehead, which is one of the best places to apply a cooling or heating item. It does dry out after some use, but on an average day it stays damp and cool for hours. I’m very happy with mine!

Review: These are 2 very different products based on the same principle – evaporative cooling. Evaporative cooling works the best in dry climates (think Arizona), and has the least effect in humid climates (think Florida).Ergodyne Chill-Its 6700CT Evaporative Cooling Bandana with Cooling Towel (this product).The “CT” is does not contain the absorbent beads, but does have a microfiber towel on the inside of the “bandana” which (supposedly) increases its evaporation rate and therefore its cooling rate. There are many of these products on the market and they seem to differ mostly on the amount of absorbent beads they contain. This particular model is more generous bead wise than many.”Which one is better?” is subjective and is largely dependent upon your access to cold water, how long you intend to use it, and how much the excess weight (of the hydrated beads) bothers you. For occasional use you should also consider the tried and true cowboy version of the same concept: the standard cotton bandana dipped in cold water.The 6700 will last by far the longest as moderate cooling properties go. As with all of these genera, they do tend to warm up and their cooling is less pronounced over time (as the day progresses); recommended if you want some all day cooling without refreshing the bandana. The downside is you have a heavy thing around your neck and that it may emit a (very light) slime that some find offensive. The slime is minimal and can be avoided by not overhydrating the “bandana” (think Viagra warning), or freezing it.The 6700CT may be preferred by anyone who is bothered by the weight and/or potential “slime” of absorbent gel “bandanas” and has more access to cooling water during the day. Title: I do like the high visibility factor but I think I’ll be …
Review: This product is okay. I recently ordered two high visibility green/yellow bandannas for my 6 yr. old to use during hot (95 degrees) football practice days. Yesterday, was our first day using the product. After about 10-15 minutes on his neck, he mentioned it was no longer cooling him off. Luckily, I had another one chilled in the cooler waiting for him. This system seemed to work okay. I do like the high visibility factor but I think I’ll be looking for additional bandannas with the beads in them. I hope this helps.

Review: Bought them for my husband who works on construction sites and he followed the instructions and nothing. Waste of money! I’ve had similar products before and they worked well not sure why this one doesn’t.

Review: I got this for a trip to Florida in August and I was VERY impressed. It was brutally, oppressively hot the first day I was in Disney World and I thought I’d have to go back to my hotel. I put this on (definitely follow the instructions- using it properly does make a difference!) and instantly felt better. It was still hot, but no longer overwhelming. I ordered a second one immediately.

Review: Sweatband that held come water that you could actually wash would be better and cleaner. It will break you out because if you wash it for sanitizing swells up the size of a small baby arm. Lol

Review: Antes que nada, la calidad del producto es excelente. La versión que adquirí es de color reflejante y brilla bajo el sol. Funciona tal como lo dice el video de instrucciones. Se requiere sumergir la porción que tiene el material de color azul en AGUA CON HIELO (el agua de la llave o sólamente fria no funcionan). NO SE DEBE DE PONER EN EL REFRIGERADOR. Luego de los 3 minutos en el agua con hielo se exprime y se debe de agitar en el aire como una honda por un par de minutos. La sensacion térmica se activa conforme el aire circula alrededor de la tela, es decir en exteriores o con un abanico. Funciona perfectamente y la sensación refrescante dura aproximadamente 3 horas. Es muy agradable, como tener un hielo en el cuello, pero sin estar mojado. Cuando se desee incrementar la sensación solo hay que mover la cabeza haca atrás, para que frote la piel del cuello, lo cual se puede repetir todas las ocasiones que se desee. No funciona bien en lugares con mucha humedad ambiental como el centro y sur de México, sino en lugares con calor seco, como es mi caso. Cuando ya esta menos frio, se coloca de nuevo en el agua con hielo, se reactiva agitandolo y listo. Estoy muy satisfecho, y pienso adquirir otras dos, aparte de las dos que compré. Como comentario ameno, no se debe de lavar en maquina o poner en secadora porque lo daña. Se lava a mano con jabon neutro. Ponerlo en el refrigerador daña permanentemente el material y pierde su habilidad para enfriar, cosa que valio la pena que me enterara viendo un foro, así que evite hacer eso.

Review: Die Kühlfunktion hat leider direkt beim Nass machen nicht richtig funktioniert.Und auch beim Tragen war es die ganze Zeit ein unangenehmes Gefühl.Nach dem ersten richtigen Gebraucht ist das blaue Kühlfutter eingerissen und hat angefangen zu Fusseln.Sehr schade!
