Title: 10 months and still extremely pleased
Review: I am just tickled pink with the wonderful quality that this laptop has turned out to be. There has been zero issues with it, and we are not gentle at all with the hard drive, as we are always adding very large files, only to modify, resave and then delete, over and over. The unexpected surprise of it being a touch screen has got to be my favorite extra feature, as i am so used to using a smart phone that its second nature now to just tap the screen. Imagine my shock when it worked, and i thought (foolishly i admit, but it was very late) that perhaps it was some great update and my pc would do the same, lol. Well, cant blame one for hoping i guess, lol. Really though, for the price, its more than worth it. I have not done any gaming on it, other than running android apps so i can keep up with my stuff from facebook on a much nicer screen than my phone. Super happy and will definitely buy from this vendor when needing computers in the future.

Title: Beware. These “refurbished” laptops are junk.
Review: I received my “refurbished” Dell Latitude 7400 on Saturday and spent Sunday transfering files, downloading software, and setting up the device to be used for a small business. The first thing that stuck out while using was the fact that with my standard typing pattern, letters were missing in my words on the screen. The keyboard has numerous problematic keys, requiring a solid, direct push to make them work. The battery is defective, as, just as the description through Amazon states, it will only charge to 80%. That would be great if it worked as a standard, non-modified battery. Unfortunately, upon unplugging the unit and using it directly off the battery, the laptop shut off after about 45 minutes from having no power. Those problems would be bad enough, but now, after less than 3 days of use, the unit won’t power on at all. Thanks for the hassle Amazon. –A touch of an update. After contacting the seller, the have offered to send me a new computer, but also showed me a trick on how to get the current one back up and running. However, if the issue persists, it’s going to need to be replaced regardless. Unfortunately, after taking 2 days getting this one set up, the hassle is huge. This issues with this one could have been tested prior to sale, which is becoming an unfortunate waste of time. Due to the courteous nature of the seller’s customer support, I’m bumping things up a star, but if this needs replaced, that may change.Another update: I have altered this review again, as the laptop is not functional anymore. The include software was glitchy, the power source had constant issues, and the screen would de-pixelate constantly. It was functional but annoying for about 6 months. After that, it was useless.

Title: But what if I don’t want to make a headline?
Review: It came two days early and in excellent condition as well as 83% charged. It runs well and quietly, the only heating issue I’ve had is when I left it on a surface that covered most of the vents on the bottom such as a thick blanket and it cooled off fairly quickly once removed. It has an interesting rubberized texture to it that I rather enjoy. I haven’t used it for more than a few minutes unplugged so far so I can’t comment on battery life but it seems fine. The only reason that this isn’t a five star review is because when I was holding it up in the air so other people can see the screen, the computer became very glitched out and unresponsive but thankfully after rebooting it, it’s like it never happened. I understandably haven’t attempted to recreate that problem. it was however, suggested to me that I had applied pressure to an internal component due to the placement of my hands which caused the freakout, but I can’t confirm that.Overall, great laptop for the price but be careful about how you hold it or else you will need to turn it off and on again.Edit: It’s been a couple weeks since I got it and it is still running great and without anymore of the glitches. There is, however, one minor gripe that I’d like to touch on now that I’ve actually had longer than a day to use it. The arrow keys are kind of small and the page up/down buttons are right next to them which makes rather easy to mistype and suddenly have the screen move in a way you aren’t expecting which is rather annoying when it happens but is really just a minor inconvenience and something I can adjust to.

Title: I have not used it but
Review: I bought this as a gift for my daughter. I did charge it, boot it up, and check that it had all that was promised. And it did. It did take longer than I bought it should to boot up but, I like it and will be ordering one for myself. Shipping was speedy and It arrived shortly before it was promised. But yeah, I would recommend this laptop and the seller. I did also purchase the 2 yr Asurion warranty for it that I now have to figure out how to transfer that to my daughter. I hope she likes the laptop as much as I do.

Title: Pleasantly suprised!
Review: Received this Dell 7400 to replace a Lenovo (that I loved) but had a known hinge issue. This Dell is solid and a little heavier but should last for years. All keys and functions work and I immediately updated to Windows 11 and Office 365 without any issues. i7, 16gb ram, 512 SSD and expansion ports (HDMI, thunderbolt, 2x USB, micro SD and audio ports) all work as expected. Photos in the Amazon listing show a slot for a SIM card for cellular/mobile access but mine didn’t include that. Not a problem since I will only be using wifi via a hotspot or public internet access when traveling and don’t need a dedicated SIM. I was also not expecting a touch screen but surprise – the one I received did have a touch screen so the finish is glossy. It does seem to have a privacy filter built in so the viewing angles aren’t the best but certainly passable for a $325 refurb. Also, the built in speakers aren’t very good and located under the laptop but I plan to use earbuds or external speakers so these will be just fine for the occasions where they will be needed. I received the laptop in less than a week (not using Prime) and all in all I am VERY impressed at the value and features in the laptop that I received. This laptop looks brand new (does not appear to be refurbished at all) and again – amazing deal for $325.
