Review: The Chinese Checkers boardgame comes with six different colored marbles to play the game. In addition to the marbles for the game, a package containing two marbles of each color is included in case one or more marbles get lost or misplaced. The gameboard is well made, looks nice, and has a storage drawer under the playing surface to store marbles when not in use. Holes are cut into the playing surface to keep the marbles from rolling away and if one does get away there is a raised edge around the perimeter of the board to keep them from falling off. Chinese Checkers has been around for generations and for those that have never played it, instructions are included on the back of the box. This game allows players to use strategy rather than just luck to win. The Chinese Checker game set would make a nice gift for anyone that loves boardgames.

Review: This is a high quality Chinese Checkers set with a proper real-wood board and authentic marbles! The wood play board is not just nice to play on but also as a display in the living room. The compartment underneath the playing surface actually has a nice detente to hold it closed, a nice touch. What I appreciate the most is that the marbles included in my set are actually authentic Chinese checker marbles featuring the clear spherical body with the color on the inside (they aren’t just entirely one color as the photos suggest). I was so happy to receive these marbles because the ones in the photos don’t look great so I was prepared to purchase a separate set of marbles just like the ones included. Overall very happy with the set.
