Title: Fantastic. Better than expected
Review: This is even better than I expected. I bought two different enclosures- one for outside and one for inside because I have a unique situation at the moment. The one I got for outside… I wish I hadn’t, I would have gotten 2 of this kind had I known! It is big and spacious, well constructed overall, easy enough to put together, and came packaged so well. Meanwhile the other one that I got was chipped and ended up being smaller, more expensive and no where near as nice. My cats are cozy. I added blankets and soft stuff for them and they love it.

Title: bad instructions, nice catio
Review: This is a nice catio, well designed and roomy enough for 2-3 cats. The wooden platforms and hidey holes are made of smoothly finished fir and very attractive. The catio also comes very well packed and nicely labeled as to the numerous parts and hardware. The wire mesh is sufficiently sturdy to handle even rowdy cats.However, the wood frame is rather flimsy, and the black paint on the wood is really bad and rubs off- no way will that stand up to any bad weather. The product description online states that the catio is weatherproof, but the instructions that come with the product state that the painted wood needs serious sealing in order to stand up to rain. The instructions are actually the biggest issue, with numerous glaring mistakes and unclear directions that made the catio somewhat tricky to assemble. I recommend that people logic through the assembly process before trying to follow those bizarre instructions, which should be seriously edited before inflicting them on further unsuspecting customers.

Title: Super cute! Cats LOVE it!
Review: This came out so cute! We added a tin roof, astroturf floor, lock, second cat icon and tunnel to our window. Directions were pretty easy. Definitely a two person job even though I started solo. Nice quality but not sure it’ll last more than one summer. But for this price that’s fine. Cats LOVE it!!!

Title: Perfect catio for our needs
Review: We purchased this to temporarily house indoors, an injured cat that showed up in our backyard. It took my husband about 2.5 hours to put together. It is very spacious, much better than a large dog crate and fits nicely in my laundry room. Although the cat is scared of going up on the higher levels, I’m hoping over the course of his time in it, he will become braver and explore up top. I love that assembly was easy, it’s really cute and has several hiding and climbing/jumping options for the cat. What I don’t like is that the wood is very soft and not sealed or sanded. I don’t think there is risk of splinters, but because of the rough finish, the cat’s hair sticks to it very easily, which makes it look messy. This is not meant to be left outside in all weather. This will not hold up long in rain or snow. Even though it comes with the rain shield for the top, that will do nothing for rain that comes in sideways. I’m sure it would be great in an enclosed porch. For our needs, it’s perfect, but for someone specifically wanting this for outside, I believe it will not hold up long unless they put a full cover over it in bad weather.
