Title: Read the directions AND watch a couple of videos
Review: I installed this on my Silverado 2500HD and had to review the directions several times to figure out the correct places on the frame. Pictures are kind of clear but could be better.Fishing the bolts through was challenging and after I got them in place I put the nut on to ensure it would not fall down into the frame until I was ready to mount the tie down.The tie downs are identical except for the mounting holes so if it looks like it’s not lining up, switch sides. Maybe a given for some but I’m a novice.Generally not too hard to install and we’ll see down the road how they perform but they seem solid and are hidden without the tie down inserts.

Review: I have a 2015 GMC 2500HD 4×4. The reason I am only giving it a 4 star is not because of the product but because of the one step in the process to mount these on my truck.This is nothing against the manufacturer, its just the way it is…… The feeding of the fishing wire through the frame is not easy and when you actually mount the bracket and pull the bottom bolt through, you need to be super careful that you dont drop the bolt into the frame. I recommend using needle nose pliers to hold the bolt while you remove the fishing wire then immediately install the washers and nut. A second person is ideal for this. The drivers side is most difficult. I Also recommend marking the left and right brackets before installing. you dont wanna be messing with this problem while trying to prevent bolts from falling into the frame. The factory does not mark them. Read the instructions CAREFULLY several times before attempting. The mounting of this bracket is impossible without the fishing wire. If you lose it you are screwed.
