Title: A nice, cheap alternative to Meta glasses
Review: I think these shades are a great idea in theory. The connectivity between my phone and the shades was solid; no issues pairing or keeping these connected. I just wish that the speaker was on both sides of the glasses. It’s weird hearing only on one side. Not sure why they were designed this way, and compared to my Meta glasses, the sound just doesn’t immerse me as much with these. However, for the price, these are pretty decent. I’m not super crazy with how big the lenses are, and they do look rather cheap. But they protect my eyes and provide sound for a decent price.

Review: 4 out of 5 Stars (4.2)⭐⭐⭐⭐[REVIEW UPDATES][TL;DR][QUALITY] (3/5)[VALUE] (3/5)[EASE OF USE] (5/5)[MET EXPECTATIONS] (5/5)[PACKAGING] (5/5)[REVIEW REMARKS]These are budget friendly ‘smart’ glasses that connect to your phone with Bluetooth and function similar to earbuds. You can make/take calls, listen to music, and use your voice assistant on your cell phone. The issue is, there is no privacy when you are on calls or listening to music. The speakers are not using Bone Conduction Technology (BCT), they are just small speakers built in to the frame. Most smart glasses use BCT to ensure privacy. This pair of glasses uses Air Conduction and people can hear this. The charge cable is proprietary and if you lose it, or it fails, these glasses will not be able to charge. This is normally an issue, but not for these glasses due to the price point. As sunglasses go, the lenses are rather large. I have a large face and these glasses do not look good. However, when my Wife wears these glasses, they a comically large, like too large. The lenses are decent and seem to shield UV rays rather well. So, as sunglasses go, these do the trick. The frames are a little too loose in the arms. The hinges are not sturdy. The feel of these frames is a little on the cheap side, quality wise. However, the price point is not overly expensive, so this needs to be considered. The glasses come with a cleaning cloth, but do not come with a case or a storage pouch. All in all, these are a budget pair of sunglasses and the features and quality are reflective of the price point. Although these glasses are considered wearable technology, the wearer needs to be mindful of their surroundings when listening to music or talking on the phone. It is like walking around using speakerphone, the privacy expectations are the same. The call quality is OK, the microphones built in are basic and the sound received can be a little ‘tinny’. The cable is one that cannot be easily replaced, or even replaced. The touch controls are physical buttons, which is sometimes better than the ones that are built into the arms and rely on gestures to control. These glasses could have been designed better for an improved user experience. With that said, they are not bad as entry level smart glasses product.I would not order again, but this opinion is highly subjective based on quality, lens size and fit, and privacy concerns. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

Review: This might sound like a niche product, but for my dad – it’s strangely a dream come true. For some reason I don’t understand, he dislikes the feeling of earbuds (much less over the ear headphones) on his ear.Apple may think they’re being smart slowing down Iphones so you buy a new one…but that doesn’t work on the old man. Oh no, he actually takes that old hardware, turns up the volume – and takes hourlong walks with music blaring out of the speakers. Thankfully it’s a very cold winter here, so few are outside to hear…and complain lol!Something had to be done…and this gets it done (for the most part). Now he can put on sunglasses (perfect with summer coming soon)…and at least broadcast his music at a less intrusive volume. But there’s a caveat here. I tested this tonight while in my basement gym. At the volume level I’m comfortable with, the sound from these BlueTooth Sunglass Speakers can be heard in the entire room at a somewhat medium level. It only fades and disappears as you travel up the stairs. There is a lower volume that still works, but isn’t as “fun”. So just be aware that for outdoor use, you will have to be considerate for those around you (cough! dad!).The sound quality is good. Not bad, but not anything spectacular either. The audio comes out of two respective slits on the back end of the handles. It’s clear without any artefacts or static. That actually surprised me, given how small the slits are. I was able to listen to an hour-long YouTube show comfortably, while working out in the basement gym. Speaking of which…I personally find the fit to be excellent. Despite the angles on the benches or swift movements, they never felt like they were slipping.I docked one star because I find the charger to be a little strange. To be sure, it charges normally. My problem is that it’s a little too sensitive. The end has a USB Type-A that you put into your charger – this part fits securely. Then the wire splits into two different magnets – one for each side of the BlueTooth Sunglasses. I wish they just used a normal USB-C or B-Mini style end. If you handle the glasses or even bump them while charging – there’s a high chance the magnets will slip off. The problem is that once they slip off, the headphones suddenly turn on (regardless if you turned them off before)…and automatically connect to your device. It’s very annoying, so be careful while charging.Another criticism I have is that the glasses seem to have no volume control on the glasses themselves. You’d have to handle your device if a certain song or video suddenly blasts your ear with amped up audio. So don’t consider these completely “hands free”.One minor thing I did like during my tests is that there’s a robotic voice that tells you when the device is turned on or off. Might seems inconsequential, but remember that there’s no display on the glasses. So this makes it easy to know you’ve hit the correct key combination to trigger the desired actions.I’ve included two images. One is the “unboxing” image so you can see what you’ll receive. The other shows you how the charger works – relevant for my previous criticism. Anyways, hope that helps you make an informed decision. And all I’ll say is that these will probably save us from neighbour complaints this coming summer…thanks pops!

Review: The UV400 lenses are fantastic for blocking out strong sunlight, which is a big deal for me when I’m outdoors. Plus, the blue light filtering feature really helps reduce eye strain when I’m looking at screens for long periods. What I really love, though, is the Bluetooth functionality. The sound quality is surprisingly immersive for a pair of glasses—it’s like having a personal concert, but without disturbing anyone around me. The fact that I can answer calls, control music, and even adjust the volume directly from the glasses makes things super convenient. No more fumbling around for my phone when I’m out on a walk or driving.I was also concerned about how they’d hold up while I’m active, but these glasses are pretty durable. They’re resistant to sweat and dust, and I appreciate that they come with a cleaning cloth. I’ve worn them while working out, and they’ve held up fine.Charging them is quick and easy, too. A full charge takes about 1.5 hours, and I get over 3 hours of continuous music or calls. It’s a nice bonus that the glasses can last for several days on standby—no worries about constantly having to recharge them.Overall, these glasses have definitely grown on me. They’re stylish and functional, and the Bluetooth integration just makes them so much more convenient for everyday use. I can totally see myself using these while driving, hanging out with friends, or just relaxing outside. Plus, they make for a great gift—who wouldn’t want a pair of smart glasses like these?

Review: The Bluetooth Sunglasses came with a proprietary dual charger to a USB-A end. This sounds like a big clash for me in terms of a futuristic gadget that is recently on the market (at least for me), using USB-A instead of USB-C.The magnetic end of the charging cable looks very similar to that of my smart watch charger, but they are not interchangeable. So, I have to ensure not to misplace this dual magnetic charger cable. The lenses of these sunglasses are UV400 resistant and work well for me. Each of the 2 arms have independent features: magnetic charging contact, indicator lights, speaker, microphone and function button. The arms are consequently wider, for obvious reasons. They fit rather well on my face with a slight tendency to fall on my nose, but otherwise has a nice sleek design and appears to be very well made.Happy that there are no apps to download, as the only steps needed is to fully charge the sunglasses and pair with Bluetooth to my IPhone XR. The indicator LED lights up solid red when charging, flashes blue when trying to pair, then solid blue when connected. This process is quite fast and simple. The robot voice is not too pleasant to hear.I am able to play music from my home cloud and listen while on my walking time. There is no volume control, except from my phone. The good thing is that the speaker is not in my ear, like my earbuds. However, if I am indoor, anyone nearby can hear what I am listening to. Music quality is very acceptable but can be better. The function button is used to turn on or off the sunglasses, voice command and to answer/hangup calls. Communication is loud and clear, both for me and the other end of the call. Again, volume control is on my phone and not on the sunglasses.Battery capacity is only 210 mAh and could be better as music and calls last for about 3 hours on a full charge.I am addicted to gadgets since very young and these sunglasses are definitely one of my favourites. There are just a few improvements/deficiencies needed to be addressed to move from a 4 to a 5 star rating.

Review: Arguably these dark rimmed polarized sunglasses with Bluetooth 5.3 work on all accounts. The polarization is oriented correctly and does make my iPad charting software on the boat darker and harder to read. The Bluetooth 5.3 is running in game mode low latency which is good when gaming or streaming media because there is no lip sync delays. But I don’t do those things with sunglasses on.The audio and calling Bluetooth features also work well. Each arm has its own independent “ear bud built in” with separate battery, separate charging and separate power buttons. Must power both up separately not a problem. The charge cable is similar to smart watch magnetic connectors on “Y” design to each arm.The audio fidelity tone is all treble and mid range no base. The air gap between ears and speaker is large so sound can be heard in the room when listening to music or in a call. And the main reasons these are not for me and in my opinion why these glasses are deficient.
