Title: Bought 2 HDDs and Both of them are DEAD!
Review: Just don’t waste your time with these HDDs, I bought 2 of them, and both of them are dead. It worths the money to get a brand new retail drive with a full warranty!

Title: Renewed test continues after a week
Review: Four units, all renewed. First week was intermittent use tests (computer was up-and-down with office hours), and limited 4-8tb COPY processes, all at 180-220mbs – good speeds for an old drive’s USB to these new SATA drives. For the last two days, they are running 28/8 – 28 hours a day, 8 days a week. This will be their semi-normal life from here on. I have ZERO faith in Seagate (much preferring HGST, pre-WD but since those days are dead ‘n gone… well…) so these will be on constant watch/constant backup service. We will get many more although the price increase over other drives means these are not a good value.
