Title: Was a little disappointed
Review: It came very nicely packaged, with string and a beautiful wrapping paper.The board itself was decent.The board is glued from multiple pieces of wood, a bit like wood flooring. I think from the picture I had expected it to be one solid piece of wood, but I imagine that’s not doable at this price point. If you look at the picture carefully, you can see it is individual pieces, though the colors match.My main quibble was:1. The color was a bit different on different planks, so it’s clearer that it’s separate pieces of wood on mine.2. I can definitely feel the seams between the wood. I was trying to decide which side to use and I could feel the seams on one side more than the other.Maybe I got an off one from the batch? Not sure what I should do, would sanding at some grit hurt the board? The board is quite well-finished (with beeswax as they say), so I’m reluctant to try to file the seams down.From other reviewers, I believe the “feelable” seams wouldn’t be an issue with water/expansion/breakage, though they do make me a bit nervous.Overall, probably a good purchase but I probably wouldn’t buy it for the one I got, but too troublesome to return.Update: The customer service is off the charts. They refunded me the cost of the board and gave me a pretty smaller one, which was a nice surprise. I think they really stand behind their products and so buying this is almost risk-free. Makes very nice gifts too due to the packaging.My board is working fine, the seams are not a problem.

Title: As good as it gets. . .
Review: I researched and reviewed several culinary testing authorities who I greatly respect and Teak Cutting Boards were hands down selected by them as, hands down, THE BEST for the two most important attributes that I was looking for. . .overall wood quality and characteristics and perhaps most importantly, ease on my knives. The fact that the grain match and finish was very nicely done was just a bonus. I’ve looked at other suppliers of teak cutting boards before deciding to purchase a Ziruma board and I’m very happy I did. It’s a spectacular board in every aspect. I’ll actually be purchasing another yet larger Ziruma board shortly. Additionally, I had the opportunity to contact and communicate with customer support and can’t say enough about their quick response, professionalism and desire to make absolutely sure that I was 100% satisfied with the purchase. Bottom line, the product is great, the customer service is superb and in my opinion there’s no need to look any further for a great cutting cutting board from an equally great company. It just doesn’t get any better when working with these folks.

Title: My hubby loves it!
Review: I bought this wooden cutting board for my husband who loves to cook. He is our house chef!He needed a sturdy, strong and professional cutting board for daily use. He loves it and he is using it for different daily kitchen tasks. He can’t live w/o it! This is one of my best gifts to him. I am also very happy with it too. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good (and pretty) cutting board.

Title: Unexpectedly impressed
Review: I thought this thing would crack and splinter within a week. It’s been over a month with use about 2 to 3 times a day for 6-7 days a week, and still going strong. This is some tough wood. And my knives are pretty sharp. I’ve even chopped veggies while angry, so I really came down hard on it, and it’s fine. Good product. I wash it right after and stand it up to dry.
