Review: These shoes are so comfortable and attractive! Not at all waterproof but that’s not the claim. The biggest problem I’ve had with them are the laces. Yes, they’re cute, but they are absolutely the worst laces I have ever had for staying tied! Even when I knot them over the bow, they STILL come untied. It’s a nightmare puzzle of physics. I’d happily buy another pair if Merrell would just put some thought into designing laces that stay tied!

Review: These are comfortable out of the box. I wore them on all my death valley and kanab hike. No sore feet. They are lighter the Merrill Moab’s and have good grip on the sole. I am buying another pair.

Title: OK but not as supportive as other Merrells
Review: Background: I have been wearing Merrell brand shoes almost exclusively for the past few years because they help be avoid trouble with my periodic achilles tendon and plantar fasciitis pain. I keep about 3-5 pair in rotation, constantly (different colors, different degrees of wear-and-tear). This particular pair I have been wearing for about a month, mostly indoors, while I’ve been on my feet much of the day as I pack up a house for moving. They’re comfortable enough, but the soft sides are not nearly as supportive as the several other Merrell shoes I have worn. The sole is also comfortable enough, and I’m relieved that it has averted any foot pain flareups, but it does not feel as supportive, or as long-lived, as other Merrell shoes. For reference, I am 5’10” and 180 lbs; a pair of Merrell shoes worn daily typically lasts me 6-8 months before I develop foot pain as they wear out. I don’t know yet, but these do not seem likely to last that long. Bottom line – they’re ok, but I wouldn’t try to use them for anything more demanding than a walk from the parking lot to the store. On the plus side, they look sharp to be out and about for that purpose…

Title: Sizing is WAY Off
Review: The sizing is WAY off on theses shoes. I have 2 pair of the identical shoes (one pair is same color). These new shoes are supposedly the same size but are a good inch shorter.Of course, they are going back. A shame because I really like the other 2 pairs that are true to size.
