Title: MORE OF A SCAM THAN A CAM
Review: Rates 5 stars so people will read. Set up (at least for the front camera) was simple. But in order to get clear video footage and other essential features (ex: license plate reading), you have to pay for a VIP membership in the app. Also, when you download videos to your phone or Google Drive, there will only be a black screen. So the only way to show footage if you need it is directly through the app. I don’t like this at all. I can deal with the sneaky membership add on, but to only have footage be accessible through the app is crazy, especially since it crashes so much. In the event of an accident, I’m not even sure if you could send footage to your insurance company as the screen will be black. This camera has so much potential but due to greed it’s not the most user friendly on the market. I’m considering returning it because without the membership it’s essentially useless, and even with the membership, not being able to download footage on your phone ALSO makes it useless. It’s so unfortunate because the camera actually has a nice design and wasn’t difficult to set up.

Review: Fantastic technology. It is especially nice because I paid and audio place $75 to install it so it is a very trim job. 4K, GPS, and driving information is stored on the video. I like that in a accident it will detect the collision and lock the video so it can’t be erased. I bought one for my wife too.

Review: One of the best dashcams!!! I got into a car accident recently and it recorded every angle and everything amazingly. very easy to set up and use. sticks very well to wherever you put it too. And the function of it is amazing i love the app and how it comes with a sim card to make sure you have the copies. Never dies just keep it plugged in at all time

Title: So good, it’s scary
Review: This device is so good that it is scary. You plug it into the cigarette lighter outlet and off it goes. The images are sharp, and somehow it knows what the time is, where you are, how fast you go. You can even set it to alert you that you are speeding towards a much slower time object. I purchased it because a friend got randomly accused of a hit and run damage that had not happened. I leave it on while I drive and use the backward facing camera to help with backing up into parking slots and when deciding to change lanes in dense traffic. It stores your recordings into 1-3 minute clips and you accumulate a to of them until it loops and overwrites the old ones. I haven’t figured out yet how much video coverage fits on the memory card it comes with. It seems to be plenty to store many of the short 20 minute clips trips I usually do. The iPhone app worked right away after connecting it to the camera. You need to purchase an additional kit to keep the camera powered when you park. That could be useful, but I’ll probably don’t go that way. Maybe having the camera alone (even when switched off when parking) deters some people from messing with your car. Installation was a breeze and largely self explanatory. The software interface that you command with a few buttons on the camera works well too. No wonder nobody can hide from such cameras anymore if such a quality and so many capabilities come at such a low purchase price point. I got a second camera for our other car. Big brother is watching you!

Review: The camera and recorders both work real fine!! Very clear and sharp video.I took 1 stars off.Because I can’t get to player to work properly with the PC App. It only shows Street names are in chinese. It never shows the MPH.You can read license plates and Street signs easily! So it is very crisp.The installation was super easy on my 2017 4 door, F150. Plenty of cable for the power and the rear camera has properly enough to reach the back bumper, which I may attempt some day. For now it’s on the back window.I wish I could get the maps on the PC to work.Night vision works surprisely well!All and all it’s a bargain and we’ll worth the money. I will probably by another one very soon.

Review: Great dashcam. Only take me one hour to install and it included everything you need for the installation. No other tool required. It would be better if it includes few tiny adhesive wire clips for where the wire had to be exposure. Picture quality is very shape as well. Menu selections are very straight forward and you don’t even need to read the manual. Some other people complain not able to connect WiFi, that because you need to manually turn on WiFi from the menu selection. You don’t really need to keep the WiFi on all the times. Only when you need to check the recording or change setting. So, WiFi by default should be off at all time. Much better than the other Red Tiger brand that I got for my son’s car. The Red Tiger one reboot itself once a while, I haven’t see this unit doing that yet. It comes with a 32GB SD card, I wouldn’t mind to pay $10 more for the price and include a 128GB SD card instead. Better than for me to throw away the 32GB and pay $20 for a new 128GB. I would recommend this to anyone looking for one. Which 2 of my friends immediately bought it before the price go back up again.
