Review: These are wonderful shears, very sharp, and smooth. The downside is they have a dead spot, the curved and the straights both have had it since the day I purchased them. I have been very careful with them, I have never dropped them, have had them sharpened and set, it did not improve.

Review: Absolutely a product that would make most people new to grooming their own small dog at home happy. While I am not a professional groomer, I have much more experience than the average pet owner and have been grooming and preparing my own dogs for exhibition for a number of years. I would think for someone just learning to groom these would be a very nice pair of “starter thinners” but if you have a higher skillset you might find them a little off balance and the cut not quite a smooth. Well packaged, arrived quickly, easy to tension set. Pertect if you are just wanting to do a little tidy up at home.
