Title: Works Great when Inflated Properly!
Review: Works perfectly! .Luxating patella and after surgery, she was sent home in a cone. I had ordered this before surgery and replaced the cone with it when she couldn’t turn around in her crate without the cone getting stuck in the bars. Being a temporary tripod, that’s not safe, in my opinion. She has about a 14″ neck and we got the Large. With her collar run through the straps, it fits like a glove.Recommendation: If your dog can still get to the incision, use a hand pump to FULLY blow it up. I tried by mouth and it still had some give, but found a balloon pump in my closet and used that…worked like a charm. She could have gotten to the incision with give in the donut, but fully aired up tight (zero squishability) it doesn’t allow her enough range. Also, make sure the ends are butted up TIGHT with the velcro strap…very tight, so they can’t get their neck in that gap. We are on day 5 of wear and there has been no air loss at all.Overall, this is far better than the cone. She can move just enough to adjust position in the crate and be more comfy, but enough restriction to keep her away from her incision site.

Review: Would totally use these if a cone any day! This product worked perfectly after our dog’s surgery. It’s a lot easy for them to eat and maneuver around.

Title: Worked for our Siberian Husky!
Review: We had our 7 months old, 56 pound Siberian Husky neutered. We wanted an intermediate between the E-collar the vet sent him home and not having a collar at all – especially since by day 3 he was completely back to his old self and not having the E-collar.Now our boy is especially good for a Siberian Husky-he’s probably the most chill one I’ve ever met. But he still was acting up at having to take it easy after his surgery. And our other dog, a Pit Husky mix wasn’t helping with his “keep calm” orders. Now, he could get to his privates-as it says, long nosed breeds probably can, however it was enough to determine him from trying to bug his surgery site too much, and get him to forget about it. It also allowed him to maneuver thru the house better than the E-collar did, and because he would come right up and cone pound you with the E-collar, once we got this, it saved us from getting more bruises than we were getting with the plastic E-collar.It works amazingly well for what we wanted it to do, and was easy to put on him-he didn’t fight and freak out like he did with the E-collar.Our Siberian Husky never got it off, but he also never tried to. For funnies, we tried to put it on our Pit Husky mix (she is the real trouble maker in the family) and she got it off in a hot second, but our Siberian Husky didn’t, so I’d say if you’re using it for a dog that doesn’t like it, you definitely want to make sure that you use some pet bandage wrap and keep the velcro strap from being swept off with a paw. This thing is durable, our Siberian Husky was able to run around and play with it and he must have been comfortable because he was able to sleep, eat, and drink normally with it.It may look funny-but it works! I never used it with my dogs collar looped through it because he never tried taking it off but you could alternately use pet adhesive tape through it and tie it in a knot instead of using the collar. It’s easy to put on and take off and while it does make your dog look like the pool floaty kid from south park, it does its job and were happy we got it!

Title: Great for xtra large breeds
Review: One of our newfoundland dogs tends to get hotspots often this works great. The normal cone that people put on their dogs so they don’t chew are too large for our dog because of their size. They can’t get outside the door if they have to wear a cone. The blow up donut with removable cover is wonderful.Easy to wash , attaches nicely to their collar.

Title: Better choice
Review: The inflatable ring is much better than the old fashioned cone. My dog can lay down conformable and doesn’t seem as miserable.

Title: Doesn’t Work As Intended For Our Pup
Review: The item itself is nice quality and stays inflated. Unfortunately, our 80 pound husky German shepherd mix can easily get to the places that this is supposed to deter him from getting to (his bum).

Title: Okay quality, but doesn’t work
Review: Dog is easily able to pull it off. Even when it is on, she was still easily able to lick herself, which this is meant to prevent. Construction quality seems okay which is why it got a second star, but the product doesn’t work as intended, at least not for my dog.

Review: Our dog didn’t love it but tolerated it during the day. Come bed time, she was ripping it off with her paws.I put it on tighter so it stayed but she wouldn’t lie on her side. The cone pushed into her throat (as she slept on her belly) and her breathing sounded restricted while sleeping. I took it off and put her in a tshirt until we could order a onesie.Maybe our girl was just fussy, and it might work better for other dogs.XL; 67lb Long Coat German Shepherd (extra fluffy)

Review: Did not hold air from day one. Had to refill a few times per day and then put it back on a very unhappy dog. Nor did it do what it was meant to, as my dog could still reach his neutering stitches around the thing. I bought a large one for a 50lb dog. I stuck with it because the traditional cone would cause my dog to panic, but I really had to watch him like a hawk and let him sleep in my bed to watch him at night. You can’t rely on this thing. Maybe the Kong brand would be better?
