Title: Amazing!
Review: This is an amazing product! Very easy to install and is great to have in my house. I also live with roommates and usually we weren’t sure if we should lock the door just in case one of the roommates didn’t have a key on them. This totally gets rid of that concern and lets us lock the door whenever. Works flawlessly.

Title: Lock doesn’t fully extend or retract
Review: No matter how many times I tried to re-assemble it following the instructions it doesn’t work correctly.When locking from outside it extends the bolt and then you hear a second time the motor moving in the opposite direction, retracting the bolt half-way. Same thing happens when you unlock, the bolt will retract all the way, stop, and then you hear the motor again going in the opposite direction and will re-extend the deadbolt a little bit. The door feels like it’s locked or unlocked but if you play enough with it, it will open.The issue remains even if you use the inside latch, it feels as though there’s a spring inside (it’s a metal pin) that doesn’t allow you to latch all the way to lock, you’ll feel a spring and the bolt will retract half-way. and if you do this operation too fast the bolt will retract all the way from the spring action.Yes I have installed the door correctly as instructed. Outside hinges on the right. Bolt completely retracted before installation, vertical fin passed through the bolt and vertical inside latch. I have tried even different combinations but it will only make the issue “different”

Title: Great lock, company, and support
Review: This lock is pretty easy to install. And it works great! I keep adding more to secure areas inside my house too! The Bluetooth link on my phone makes it so easy to use and share access with others. Their customer service is first rate! I had a problem with one and they shipped a replacement right away and gave me 30 days to retune the damaged one! Great lock and company.

Title: you CAN set a permanant code with only 4 digits!
Review: I just wanted to let people know that I was able to set a personalized 4 digit pin style code. It wasn’t super intuitive, but I figured it out. otherwise a pretty straight forward installation.

Title: Not horrible but really the only device like it. “Smart” features leave much to be desired.
Review: My garage entry door has just a knob, no deadbolt. I wanted a smart solution that we could use without the need for keys. Surprisingly no one makes a “Smart Door Knob”. There’s so many offerings in the deadbolt market you would think one of them would make a spin off for a knob. This was the only product I could find that had an actual knob and some type of “smart” interface. I would use the term smart loosely. I’m not sure if Honeywell actually developed this product or simply bought something that existed but the execution was a bit of a let down. Installation was straight-forward but setting it up over Bluetooth was a pain. At one point it seemed as if the device had been setup before but not factory-reset, which if that’s the case its basically trash unless the person that had it before un-links it from their account. I was able to pair it with my phone and use the BLE to lock and unlock the knob. I was hoping to be able to create new codes via the app but it generates them for you and you have to be in front of the knob anytime you make any changes. The app has sections for a Gateway device to connect it to the internet but I can’t find any information on Honeywell’s website that talks about what is needed. I was hoping for a device that would recognize my phone when I woke up the knob and unlock but that doesn’t happen. You basically need to pull out your phone, open the app, login and click the unlock button and hope the knob receives the command. Luckily this device has a keypad to unlocking and now we pretty much find ourselves using the keypad as it is quicker then trying to use the phone. This could have been a great product but I think it falls short of its goal. Its better than fumbling with keys but if I could do it over I would just get the version with the keypad and would have saved $70. If Honeywell decides to ever create a gateway to get this thing online it could have much more potential but I don’t see that happening.

Title: Overall great Bluetooth lock! Easy to use and install
Review: This lock easily connected to Bluetooth within decent range. The app was easy to install and setup. The one thing I dislike is the permanent passwords only allow auto generate and are very long. I would have liked to have customized my own permanent passcode to use. Pay attention to whether it’s a left hand or right hand door (goes off hinges) or your lock and unlock buttons will be opposites. Overall a great Bluetooth lock! I also like the ability to open with a key if batteries go dead.
