Title: Overboard
Review: Ok, I just wanted a heavy duty microwave that would nuke crap quickly. I don’t actually COOK with this thing. Well, they’re not kidding. This is a heavy professional crazy duty microwave. It’ll zap anything. However, it’s big, the trim kit makes it look even bigger, and it’s kinda oversized. Also, it has this irritating lock key that you have to push any time you want to open it. People are in awe of it but the reality is that it’s too much.

Title: Bigger than its predecessor so trim kit will not work
Review: The only reason I bought this is because it goes with the suite of the existing appliances otherwise I’d steer far and wide of Frigidaire. The microwave seems to do basics well enough and it’s plenty powerful but it lacks a few features, such as defrosts settings for soups, that the previous microwave had. But most aggravating is this microwave was suggested by Frigidaire to replace the broken one since it’s the most similar to that one and the new microwave is just tad bit larger where the trim kit ($250) doesn’t fit.

Title: Great microwave, large interior, heats evenly… overall pleased
Review: Great microwave, no issues. Hope it last as long as the one it replaced (15+ years). One minor annoyance, but not enough to take a star oof, as I suspect most new microwaves are adding this feature… the door locks after use. You have to press a button to unlock the door before you can open it. Probably some child safety nonsense, but annoying for grown adults. I do like the slightly larger interior (as compared to the one it replaced), and it seems to cook more evenly (although that may have been because the old one was getting old). If the oven below it dies, I’ll definitely get the matching oven.

Title: Poor design and inferior quality.
Review: This microwave is not stainless steel. It is a black microwave with a stainless steel trim kit. The trim kit and microwave were both made in China. It is too soon to say anything about the microwave, but the trim kit is a piece of crap. It is plastic cover in a thin, foil like sheet of stainless steel. My old Whirlpool had a solid stainless steel trim kit and was a breeze to install. It is my opinion tha the Frigidaire trim kit was poorly designed and cheap looking.
