Title: A great sourcebook for one of my favorites
Review: The first of the Force and Destiny class books is out for the Guardian. One of my favorites of the Force user types.At this point, we have a pretty good idea what these look like.Some discussion of backgrounds, motivations and moralities.3 new species – Iktotchi, Lannik and the Whiphid. I’m not familiar with any of the races, but like the Iktotchi and Whiphids. Doesn’t appear they play much of a role in the galaxy at large, but PC’s should be interesting. I know it’s shallow, but I just can’t take the Lanniks seriously. Those ears….It doesn’t help they are in BOTH new class books. Overkill.3 new specs – the Armorer, Warden and Warleader. Not a huge fan of fear specs, but do really like the idea of the Armorer and can definitely see a use for the Warleader.2 new signature abilities – How can you not like Fated Duel? If I had to pick one signature ability, this would be it. Unmatched Heroism is not shabby either for a bodyguard style character.We also get a new Force power (so must be 6 new ones coming at least). And it’s a goody – Suppress. What a useful idea for a power to dampen the effects of Force powers that harm you or your allies.As always, there is new gear. The Lightsaber pike and guard shoto are interesting choices. We also gets several new types of armor, which makes sense as it gives the Armorer more to play with. The training remove from A New Hope even makes an appearance.2 new lightsaber crystals, including the Kimber – if you want a pacifistic Force user, why wouldn’t you want to turn your lightsber into a stun only weapon?Tons of armor attachments.There are a surprising number of ships, including 3 fighter and 5 freighter classes. Title: Great product to have if you have a Guardian in …
Review: Great product to have if you have a Guardian in your group. Finally got around to reading it all the way through and it gives some great ways to really let those Guardian characters in your party shine in their own ways, especially with ways for GMs to give them epic quests or moments within the campaign such as the quest to build a lightsaber or,if the time ever comes, a way for that Guardian to go out like a hero in an epic duel! Like always, FFG has included new races and equipment, which is always a fun addition. Kudos once again to Fantasy Flight!

Title: Great Sourcebook for the Guardian Career Path in Force and Destiny.
Review: This is the first Specialization sourcebook for Fantasy Flight Games’ Star Wars: Force and Destiny and it’s fantastic! This book offers three more Specializations for the Guardian Career Path: Armorer, Warden and War Leader. It also adds three races and two Signature Abilities.

Review: You pay $30 for fewer than 100 pages of material. It’s full color, hard bound, and gorgeous – but in my opinion, the amount included is not worth the full price.
