Title: Great Overall With Some Issues
Review: I have been using the factory unit on my 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport for over 6 years and was actually happy with it overall, but wanted to try this out after finding it on Amazon. I got the 2k QLED model for $499 at the time of writing, so my review is for this configuration. Despite it, I am overall impressed and giving 4/5 stars.PROS1) Touchscreen and steering wheel controls works out of the box2) Apple Car Play works (98 out of 100 times) . When it didn’t I simply restarted the headunit and rebooted my iPhone3) The onscreen navigation is gamechanging!4) The UI can be customized!5) The audio of my phone through bluetooth meets/exceeds the factory unitCONS1) My favorite radio stations now have obvious static when I tune into them using the new headunit. I’m not sure the exact reason as these stations worked perfectly with the factory unit. Currently reaching out to the seller for this issue (Serious issue for me)2) There were occasions when the time reset to New York when rebooting the headunit even though I’m in California (minor issue)3) Changing songs of my song connected by bluetooth takes longer to register compared to the factory unit (minor issue)

Title: NOT COMPATIBLE ON TYPE R OR SI MODELS
Review: Seller advertises product as compatible with ALL 2016-2021 HONDA CIVIC models… however, this product (even with the extra harness they will tell you to buy to ‘make’ it compatible) doesn’t work on a HONDA CIVIC TYPE R.Not only did I spend over $300 and lots of time waiting for the seller to respond and help me out, but I had to research on my own and figure out how to install, because the seller couldn’t help me out.I will be returning the product today, and looking for something of higher value, it has good product reviews for baseline civics, but don’t get this if you have a TYPE R or Si model, it’s a waste of your time. Seller also showed no sense of urgency to help me out with the product, although I was being very patient waiting for responses and trying to figure out installation by myself. Not until I started the return did the seller text me asking to ‘help me’ and offer a partial refund… by this point I had figured out the connections, but the product still didn’t produce the original volume level that the car produced with the OEM module (downgraded sound quality). Don’t bother wasting your time with this product if you don’t plan on putting it on a baseline civic, you won’t receive a response containing substance from the seller and it will definitely not work correctly.

Title: Bluetooth stopped working
Review: Worked great until it didn’t, over the last year of owning this every once in awhile it wouldn’t connect to my phone, and randomly disconnect. This week it won’t connect at all, as if the Bluetooth feature no longer works.

Title: Good unit, especially for the price
Review: Honestly really quite good, especially for the price. I purchased a $500 Sony unit through crutchfield that turned out to have a lot of issues so I figured I’d try this unit out. Large, super crisp screen with all the functionality you’d expect. Few snags with the install but customer service was good at helping me configure via email and photos. Occasionally the wireless Android auto has trouble connecting, but if I just close the program and connect again it works just fine. I don’t find many of the apps that came with the unit very helpful, but once I’m connected to Android auto none of that matters.
