Customers say
Customers find the fan works well, moves a lot of air, and is quiet. They appreciate its compact size, build quality, and ease of installation, with one customer noting it lasted a year in their truck’s cab. The suction cup quality receives mixed feedback, with several customers reporting that it won’t stick properly. Value for money opinions are divided between those who consider it worth the investment and those who find it overpriced.

Title: Lives up to reputation
Review: Perfect on our boat. We’ve been using Caframo fans for 40 years and they last a really long time. Our first one just died and the replacement choice was a no brainer

Title: No AC in my vehicle
Review: I’m glad I bought this. I just suctioned it to the glass on my drivers window (it’s a 2002 bus, so there is room). It works very well. I have bumped into the blade about 20 times. Because I’m a klutz. It’s not a big deal. It surprises me when it happens but it’s seriously a non-issue. It’s like getting hit by a rubber band at worst, not really painful as much as surprising, if you get my meaning. So I was thinking about getting the one with the cage on the blades but this one moved more air. I’m glad I went with this one, as it’s not a big deal whacking myself once in a while to get that increased air flow. It’s not super loud, which doesn’t matter anyhow when you drive a big noisy diesel anyhow. It’s a bit speedy, but I already had one caftans fan installed when I bought the bus, and both are better quality than truck stop 12v garbage. I believe the product will outlast other cheaper items so I’m happy with the quality for the price.

Title: Works WELL – BUY THE CLAMP TOO!
Review: I was initially a little hesitant making this purchase due to it being pricier & concerns that it might not offer much relief on those hotter boat days when there is zero breeze – the main purpose of my search. After reading through all the complaints regarding the suction cup, I took a reviewer’s advice & purchased the compatible clamp & that made ALL THE DIFFERENCE! So far we’ve used it in an enclosed golf cart & it worked GREAT! We’ve only used it once on the boat & it worked really well! We had it clamped under the canopy of the center console just slightly in front of us & we could definitely feel it. It was worth the investment – we bought a second fan & clamp!! Only downside, if you’re the type that likes things to match, the fan is black & the clamp is white – white was the only option at the time of purchase.

Title: Great Little Fan
Review: Purchased one of these to use in our lightweight travel trailer. We were specifically looking for a compact, lightweight fan with a low power draw to better preserve our rv battery. Took it on a 3000 mile roadtrip, used regularly, and love it. The fan is sturdy and made well. It sips electricity on the low setting – much more efficient than the MaxxFan mounted on our roof. High setting actually dried clothes hanging in the camper overnight. The suction cup works surprisingly well, and the optional clip provides a solid grip. The “finger saving” stop on the fan works pretty well too, although it is a shock if/when someone makes contact with a blade. I wish the fan just had a grill (like, why not?). But overall, this has been a great add to our travel trailer.

Title: Great boat fan
Review: For such low power draw , ths fan moves noticeably more air in comparison to any fan with mesh/cowling protecting blades. Also much quieter. This is the third of these I have bought for my boat replacing the other fans i used. Dollars spent, this is one of the best pieces of kit for warmer climates. Doesn’t hurt on occasion when I do accidentally tap the blades. 2 speeds. Easy to mount fixed bracket with a couple of screws. Highly recommend. Small note- it does need a little clearance behind to allow air to circulate, when I mounted in ceiling corner air draw was poor, when I moved it forwards 6inches massive improvement.

Title: Waste of $
Review: This little guy moves around ALOT of air. We are avid golfers and we desperately need movement of air living in AZ. The suction cup is worthless so don’t waste your time. Suggest you buy the more expensive fan. This is our third fan; the 1st worked just fine but the 2nd and third ones rattled so bad that we have to send them back.

Review: Purchased this as I previously purchased a scirocco 2 fan and that’s been brilliant. This fan is a godsend in the heat and if your a fat basturd like me n don’t wanna stink out your campervan, then get this. Its a matter of screwing the base unit to the vehicle or use the suction cup adapter n stick it to a window or panel. The other end of the fan plugs into a 12V cigarette lighter socket. I cut the end off n wired it direct to a fuse box. The fan takes to minutes to set up one the base unit is fixed. You have 2 speeds and theses really move some air about whilst still being quiet. I sleep with this fan running all night n it’s not a problem. The exposed blades are finger safe so if you do accidently touch it with your fingers, it’ stops n doesn’t hurt. I tried this out on my 5 year olde n she didn’t bat an eye.The exposed blades make it so easy to clean when they aquire dust. Even though the base is fixed or suckered you can still rotate the fan buy unscrewing the big lock nut and relocating the position and do the lock ring up again. This fan barely draws any power from your battery array. May seem a tad expensive but in the long run, your paying for reliability, durability and quality of life.
