Title: Great finish on frame Excellent Quality
Review: I’ve bought a lot of these style shelves over time and this is by far the best quality I’ve had. The finish on the metal is glossy and scratch resistant. It boosts the attractiveness of the shelving. Putting them together is a bit of a pain, but I managed to do it with no assistance. I suggest putting the side braces on before the long braces. It helps keep the frame rigid enough to manage with the flopping and twisting the longer braces are going to do, which is the frustrating part. Also, this model has support braces that are screwed into place. I’m short, so I attached the two long brackets together with the 2 braces before attaching the brackets to the frame. I wouldn’t want anyone watching me as I took on each shelf, lol. It isn’t a pretty sight.The 2 feet wide shelving is much more stable than the narrower options. I was going to anchor them to the wall, but it wasn’t necessary.These are great shelves. I got a second because they are exceptional. LI may get a 3rd to use as a work top. However, if I had put just 4 shelves on each frame, I could have connected the two sets with a working table top with a shelf below.I am using them to hold general household items, so the weight limit is beyond my needs. They are more than adequate in terms of strength. Hooks can be added to the unused holes, so I can hang my unruly garden implements.

Title: Overall sturdy, poorly packaged
Review: I’ll start with the good. This is a sturdy shelf, easy to put together, for the most part, and comes with everything you need except for a screwdriver for tightening the middle brackets. So overall, I’m happy. That said, it is not packed well, the shelves are thin MDF and because of this, one of my shelves was damaged. Also because of poor packing some of the metal was bent during transit. I had to hammer it straight to make all of the parts fit. It worked out okay but it could have been prevented with better packing materials. I’m also disappointed in the flimsy shelves. Yes, it makes it more lightweight but they damage easily. Still keeping and using this system. Just probably not going to purchase again.

Title: Great Size
Review: These shelves are easy to put together. I needed an extra pair of hands to get the base squared up, but after that I could do it on my own. The height of the shelves is adjustable. Be sure to wear the gloves that are included because even though the metal pieces look smooth and shiny, there are sometimes sharp spots that are not noticeable. This set also included a rubber mallet which I didn’t need to use because the pieces came together and locked tight without having to hammer them.

Title: Basically overpriced foil and cardboard
Review: Summary: Don’t waste your money on this like me, go to your local tool store instead. Paid $136 for basically foil and cardboard. Very poor materials and manufacturing tolerances.Packaging: The vertical pieces and particle board were thrown in a box but weren’t protected by foam, sheets of paper, or cardboard. Rather they used the vertical metal more like edge protectors for the particle board which was a very bad idea. The only thing they did do was box the horizontal metal pieces in their own box which rattled amongst themselves. Naturally, the metal pieces came scratched. A factory worker seemed to have screwed up packing the vertical metal pieces, accidentally locked them together, bent a metal piece trying to free it apart, before giving up and packing it anyway. Took us 15-20 minutes trying to free it without bending the super thin metal.Product Quality: All of the metal is less than a millimeter thick, virtually thick foil. The metal twists and bends easily at the slightest force and came warped, causing the rack to fit very badly and rock when fully assembled. The black paint easily scrapes off when locking in the metal pieces. The particle board is less than 0.25″ thick, also warped, and came with chips and flaking. The rubber footers are also very poor quality and look like some hacked it from a block of rubber. The rack design relies on the metal geometry/shape to hold the weight rather than metal strength. 600 lbs per shelf is false advertising. The slightest crumple in any metal piece will cause this shelf to catastrophically collapse very quickly. Someone will probably die from this false promise. I’ll be forwarding concerns to the Consumer Protection Bureau and Attorney General.Assembly: The pattern of this manufacturer is deceit and the estimated 0.5 hr assembly time in the manual is another lie. Took us about 2 hours with 2 people. The mallet they provide looks like a child’s toy and the included glove is useless. The metal is super sharp and will cut your hand, especially when attempting to place the rubber footers at the vertical ends. I lost a chunk of my palm and was bleeding badly from this.

Review: Great Shelf for storage. Easy to set up. Sturdy. Instructions are easy to follow… but definitely pay attention to them. A little pricey, but much better than a lot of paper thin metal options out there!
