Title: Perfect Little Set of Djembes
Review: I am so pleased with these djembes that I had to write a review, which I seldom do. I ordered them to start a drum circle in our 55+ community so I wanted something inexpensive and lightweight for older people to manage. This fit the bill perfectly. I was concerned that the small size would mean a poor sound so I was pleasantly surprised that they produce a very good tone and slap tone. Bass tone is pretty non-existent due to the small drum head size but for what we’re using them for I couldn’t ask for better. Packaging was excellent with 6 drum boxes securely packed in one box and one drum in a separate box. No damage at all. Highly recommended for casual groups of all ages. Could even be used as a doumbek in a pinch due to the small size and high tone.

Title: NOT HAPPY WITH SOUND!
Review: Relying on past experience with the great Toca quality instruments, I bought 6 of these for my classroom. Returned all of them! The sound is tinny (metallic) with virtually no difference between Tone and Bass. Spend the extra 10 bucks & get wooden ones. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED – Toca Street Series; Solid construction, beautiful workmanship, and GORGEOUS SOUND!!!
