Title: Worth the buy
Review: I like this journal because it is a cute and quick way to sit with yourself for a 5minutes each day. Its not the most thought provoking journal but it does make you think where you don’t get overwhelmed. The simplicity of making lists is what I love most but they are lists of things to accomplish, release or become so you can still refer back at a later time to track your progress in relation to the lists of goals you set for yourself.I like it and would recommend.

Title: A Gift For You That You’ll Want to Share…
Review: I first ordered The 52 Lists Project: A Year of Weekly Journaling Inspiration by Moorea Seal last January after I read about it in an article I have long since forgotten. I liked the idea so much I sent copies to a few friends and my nieces. As stated it’s a journal. The prompts are often thought-provoking without seeming overwhelming. They push journalers to look deeper inside and to examine the lives they live, the world around them, and the lives they wish they lived. Seal is on to something with this book. While I started it late and didn’t really dedicate myself to it at first, when I finally did, I really enjoyed the vast majority of the prompts. There was the occasional prompt that just didn’t apply to me personally, but even those gave me a reason to think about why they didn’t apply to me. I did manage to finish it by the end of the year. I found the prompts intriguing and the exercise fulfilling. I imagine The 52 Lists Project: A Year of Weekly Journaling Inspiration might just become a gift I’ll give again and again. I enjoyed it so much I also bought her new journaling book to work through this year.

Title: List Your Life
Review: I ordered ‘The 52 Lists Project: A Year of Weekly Journaling Inspiration’ as a Christmas gift to myself! I was intrigued by the “list” format for journaling and diaries and figured I could at least keep up with a single list every week of the year. After all, I live my life by the many lists I make, on paper and in my head, so lists seem easy compared to journaling on a blank page. I’ve had it for over a month now and although I’ve forgotten a few times to work on my list, I love “losing” myself in the weekly list and just writing whatever pops into my head and try not to overthink the lists. I have a few other “list” type books that are still blank, never opened, but I really liked the challenge of a year’s worth of lists. I like the various topics, some you’d never think about otherwise. I also love the illustrations and typeface used in the book; it’s just such a lovely thing to open and write in. I started mine the first week of the year, but it would also be fine to start it any other time of the year and would therefore make a great birthday or graduation gift for a friend.

Title: Rustic, beautiful pages
Review: This really is a fun and beautiful, rustic book. It inspires reflection and self discovery. It’s sturdy with clean, crisp, thick pages that have ample space for all of your list items. It feels good in my hands and brings me joy. (Marie Kondo, anyone?)I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 for three reasons.1. It is subtitled, “A year of weekly journaling inspiration” which is actually a little confusing. It’s not really a book of writing prompts since you’re making lists, not writing stories. (Though, it’s yours so do what you want!)2. I realized that what I like about lists is that feeling of accomplishment when crossing something off of it. These aren’t that kind of lists, folks. Nothing to cross off!3. The “take action” at the bottom actually kind of makes me feel stressed out. Not only do I not get to cross anything off of my lists, but now I have all these other things to do AND an entire book that I can’t finish for a year. Ridiculous? Probably. But are there others out there like me who feel compelled to finish it in one sitting so they don’t have to feel guilty when they realize it’s one more thing they never finished? I hope so… so, that being said, I haven’t done it a week at a time like it was intended. I usually do 3 or 4 prompts at once. It’s fun to think through what I’d do with a million dollars, or the things that make me laugh, or my quirks, or the people that light up my life…The great thing about these kinds of books though is that there aren’t any real limits. Do with it as you will, whatever sparks joy!

Title: Buy it!!
Review: Beautiful book! Definitley recommend. I buy alot of life-ish books, gratitude books things like that..Whether reading only or interactive. I am obsessed w/ lists & I am sooo pleasantly surprised w/this book, I just didnt expect it to be as great as it is! For w.e reason it never lets me upload photos for my reviews >:( But, Its a gorgeous book. Hard cover, good thick pages, beautiful artwork throughout, Divided by seasons, book mark, Has a ? And then you write your list & Comes w/ the ‘action’ on following page. Example: What do you want life to look like in 10 years, Action; Do 1 thing this week that gets you one step closer to that dream (This is not exact, the book is not in front of me, but something like that) I am kind of at a cross roads in life, always looking to improve, strive to do better today than yesterday, be the best me I can be for me & for others around me, & reach my dreams. I will be buying 2 more of these as gifts for 2 girls. Definitley recommend. Coming from a person that buys alot of “life-ish books”, This is by far my favorite so far!

Review: Enjoying this beautifully written book with suggestions on topics to write on. My two elder sisters and I are filling it out each week then sharing our results to get to know each other better as adults. This has also spurred on lots of other conversations about our lives, thoughts, dreams etc. samples: list your goals, list your dreams, list what you would like your life to look like in 10 years, etc. Good quality paper to write on too. And excellent price!
