Title: Wanted to love it — quality just not there yet.
Review: I only ordered this because it was available through the Vine program — a First Person film option was super appealing for both the range and the bedroom :V. It arrived quickly with a 32GB TF Flash (generic name for MicroSD card), cable, glasses etc. I didn’t think I’d like the glasses but my wife really liked the way they looked on me so that’s always a plus. The camera clips on to the glasses and is removable, you can put them on other pairs of glasses (like sun glasses) without issue as long as the frames are thin enough. But this brings me to my first gripe – when the camera is worn level with the glasses, the video points a little too high. Maybe it’s a tall person problem (I’m 6’1) but when testing this out I could often only see my wife from the shoulders up (unfortunate!). To fix this I had to angle the camera downward which is hard to keep set up and ready to go while storing the camera and glasses. If I thought it was worth it I might try and sand down some frames to get the right angle. The next major issue is lack of any type of image stabilization. Your head moves around quite a bit and the video appears choppy with a lot of motion blur. It would be really nice if there was some software stabalization going on. My next gripe is that there is a “Recording” announcement when you begin and stop recording and it can’t be disabled in the options. There’s also a time and date watermark that you can’t remove in options, which is annoying.Video quality isn’t that great in y opinion — it looks like a cheap cell phone camera. Still resolution goes up to 12MP, and video recording is available in 2.7k, 1080p and 720p in both 50 and 60hz (which is good – some cameras lie about resolution) but the videos just don’t look that great. 30fps average across several samples. I tested all of the resolutions and the videos were just meh despite my best efforts. One thing I really did like was being able to hook the camera up to your computer to pull files down. There’s an app that lets you connect and I verified the wifi connection worked but there’s no way I’m installing some random Chinese app on my phone. I thought the button layouts and functions were pretty intuitive — it is easy to start and stop recording videos. The instructions are Engrish but pretty useful.I really think this has potential but the quality just isn’t there. See attached sample video, which I recorded in a brightly lit super market. If you really are on a tight budget and don’t mind a little bit lower quality, this could be for you. Just don’t expect to VLOG or do anything production like with this camera set.

Title: Too many issues, not worth it
Review: I wanted to capture the video of the photos I took as my camera cannot record a video and take photos at the same time. Sadly, the videos from this are not usable in any social media sites, maybe as a dash cam type situation but nothing more.First, the glasses I received were bent, so I could not use them.Second, when I turn on the camera, it makes a loud beep to let us know but given its position near the ear on the glasses, it is annoying. It also cannot be turned off.Third, the quality is bad, for the asking price it is not worth it. There is no stabilization and the video is too choppy.Fourth, the battery lasted less than an hour when I wasn’t recording. I just left it on to see how long it would last, it was a little over 30 min, definitely not an hour.Fifth, connecting to a PC is a nightmare. After I inserted the drive, it showed the disk as unreadable. So I installed the app. I started the installation using the QR code in the manual but when it started installing an APK file from the web on my tablet, (I switched to a tablet here) I stopped. I then went into the app store and found the app, then installed it. After which I was able to access the files on the 1st day. I downloaded a file but it did not play. There was no way to make that file play after downloading but I could view the contents of the file in the app when it was connected. The 2nd time, it would not connect at all and I had to restart the tablet and then reinstall the app and only then did it work.I stopped here, the quality of the camera is not worth the hassle.Positive – it is easy to turn the camera on, start and stop recording. The rest of the settings are not that simple, but it is explained properly in the manual. The video from this camera has a place, if you need to prove something or give documentation – something along those lines, but cool things or social media posts are not for this camera.
