Review: UPDATE 12/28/2021:I wanted to provide a longer term update to this replacement cover now that I had it on my phone for several months. Unfortunately, I have to drop my rating to 2 starts since the cover is problematic. First, the glue doesn’t hold well and cover started separating from the back of the phone and requires periodic re-glueing. Second, the back does not seem to have glass layer like the original OnePlus cover – it seems to be a painted metal only. Third, the edges are a bit sharp and that probably contributes to the cover slowly separating from the phone during use (I always use a phone case, otherwise it would be a bigger problem). Overall, for the cheap price it is still not terrible. However, I can no longer recommend it as a replacement and would rather purchase the real OEM cover if available.—————————-Original Review:I just finished replacing the broken back cover on my Oneplus 8 Pro so this is a short-term review. The trickiest part was to remove the original cover (to get it started). Go slow and carefully so you don’t scratch the sides of the phone. Also, make sure you remove all old glue so that the new cover fits nice and snug without any gaps and with good adhesion.This replacement cover comes with everything you need pre-installed on it: lens/light covers and adhesive. Just peel the protection tape, align it properly, and press it in place. Everything seems like good quality. The fit is pretty good with no issues. If you run your fingers on the side the edges may be just a bit less smooth as the original OEM cover, but not really noticeable. The color closely matches the original and really hard to tell that it is a replacement. The finish seems to attract fingerprints and a bit harder to wipe off then the original – I don’t know why… it should be glass as the original, but it is not the same. Wireless charging works great, no issues there. The included toolkit is a nice addition and very helpful if you don’t have the tools already.Overall, very good replacement for a good price. If you want an OEM you would have to pay 50+ for it and look hard to find the real one. This one seems to be a great alternative and I would recommend it.
