Title: Everything it promises, and more.
Review: I’ve always been leery of these add-on display units because of a poor experience with one 4 years ago. After watching a few review videos and communicating with one user directly, I decided to give this one a shot for our 2004 LS430.I am now duly impressed. It really is plug and play using the FM transmitter for audio. Pairing our iPhones was painless and the resulting CarPlay functionality is perfect. The screen is sharp and bright and easy to adjust to fit your environment. At this point, I’m using the windshield mount while I determine the best location for a permanent mount.At the list price, this unit is a great deal, but we did have a couple of gift cards that made the deal even sweeter.

Title: Versatile, Compatible, and Fun to Use!
Review: My car is older and the built-in screen only shows radio/GPS, so I’ve been really enjoying this device. Setup was pretty easy; just plug into a power source and connect to Bluetooth once, and you’re all set! I have an iPhone so I use the CarPlay feature, but it also connects to Android Auto. I can even cast my phone screen onto the device if I really wanted to. I also find it helpful that you can use Siri and respond to text messages on the CarPlay itself.What’s nice is that you can connect your CarPlay audio to your car speakers in a few different ways. My phone connects to two Bluetooth devices at once; my car receiver, and this product. That way, I hear calls/music through my car speakers, but I still navigate with the screen. But you can also connect your CarPlay device to you car speakers via FM or aux.The backup camera is nice too. The wire connects to the CarPlay and has to run through the car all the way to the rear; I know there’s a way to hide the wire, but I was too lazy to do it. Once it’s set up, you just click two buttons and the camera appears crystal clear on the screen! Again, I need my friend to help me angle the camera a little better, but I love how it’s compact and fairly easy to install.Overall it’s a great product 🙂 my only complaint is that my phone started getting kinda warm when I tried using it while it was connected to the CarPlay. But typically (hopefully) people wouldn’t be using their phone while their driving, especially if they have this… right?Hope this review helps !

Review: This is a perfect setup for an older car that you need to put on dash rather than down lower. Wasn’t quite equipped without additional purchases, like a wireless hands free car kit and 120W Fast charge, but overall worth it. Took awhile to get it figured out that far and still waiting to hear through car speakers.

Title: Backup Cam Glitch
Review: This 8.1” wireless CarPlay screen is a total failure. It barely connects to my phone, and when it does, the connection drops randomly while I’m driving. The touchscreen is super laggy, the interface looks outdated, and half the apps don’t work properly. The backup camera has a terrible delay and fuzzy video—absolutely no help when reversing. The screen is hard to see in daylight, and the mounting bracket broke after a week. Save your money. This thing is not worth the hassle.

Firstly for the price this is a fantastic screen. Boots quickly, connects quickly and the supplied reversing camera is more than adequate.The only downside is that whilst the built in speakers are good enough they are quite tinny with certain music but listening to audiobooks is absolutely fine. This is a much better option than replacing my whole stereo. Damn honda civic radios need a very expensive iso cable and i lovedthe idea of another screen instead!2 year warranty also. Also a little secret! Changing the boot screen is a piece of cake!. 8.1″ wireless carplay This unit is very easy to install in car and unobtruesive. It works seamlessly great update to head unit of a 10 year car, the map works perfect and music plays from bluetooth perfect. So far so good. I havent tried camera as car already has reverse camera

Devo dire che l’esperienza complessiva è stata estremamente positiva, superando di gran lunga le mie aspettative e trasformando la mia “vecchia” automobile in un veicolo al passo con i tempi.Innanzitutto, un plauso alla rapidità di spedizione di Amazon: ho ricevuto l’articolo in modo incredibilmente puntuale, in meno di 24 ore dall’ordine. Un servizio impeccabile che ha subito messo in luce l’efficienza del venditore.Il processo di installazione si è rivelato sorprendentemente rapido e intuitivo. Nonostante potessi nutrire qualche timore iniziale, le istruzioni fornite erano chiare e il montaggio dello schermo sul cruscotto è stato un gioco da ragazzi. Allo stesso modo, l’installazione della telecamera posteriore è stata altrettanto semplice, con cavi ben identificati e un processo logico che non ha richiesto competenze tecniche particolari. Review: Parfait, se connecte immédiatement. Très réactif. La caméra arrière est de bonne qualité. Pour me simplifier la pose je l’ai installé à l’intérieur au plafond au bord de la vitre arrière et un fils raccordé au feu de recul. Dacia Lodgy. Pratique pour la musique YouTube que je diffuse directement sur un canal radio. GPS waze ou Google. Cela est bien moins coûteux que de changer l’autoradio d’origine ! Excellent dés que je mets le contact il se met en routeExcellent produit, permet d’avoir une voiture connectée même s’il elle n’est pas équipée d’origine. Grand écran, ventouse très puissante. Je l’ai fixé sur mon tableau de bord à l’aide du disque fourni ,peut aussi se fixer au pare-brise ou autre grâce au bras télescopique et réglable.C’est très pratique d’avoir le GPS waze ou Google , la musique avec Youtube directement en commande vocale.Pour ma part j’ai positionné la camera arrière au plafond devant la vitre arrière cela m’a évité de faire un trou dans la carrosserie vers la plaque d’immatriculation et la camera est en plus protégée des intempéries, gel, salissures… Excellente visibilité que j’apprécie ayant des chats à la maison qui ne se voient pas toujours au rétroviseur! J’envoi le son sur mon autoradio directement transmission par la FM c’est super simple et facile de très bonne qualité . Ma Dacia Lodgy de 2012 avec son autoradio simple d’origine est maintenant super moderne, connectée, + caméra de recul pour un budget très modeste. La qualité de l’appareil est très bonne, bon écran, excellent rapport qualité prix ,facile à installer. Vendeur qui à répondu à une question technique par mail très rapidement et avec gentillesse, c’est bien appréciable. Grande aide à la conduite ,Waze sur un grand écran, commandes vocales, WhatsApp.. .Fonction aussi de clonage complet du smartphone .Produit très bien emballé. Seul regret, ne pas l’avoir acheté plus tôt !! 5 étoiles .J’éspére que mon commentaire et mon expérience vous auront aidé pour votre choix (2 eme achat de cette marque)

Review: Wir haben ein älteres Fahrzeug nachträglich mit diesem Display ausgestattet um auf einfache Weise Navigation, Sprachassistent und vieles mehr nutzen zu können. Besonders angesprochen hat uns das Format des Displays und das gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.Das Display wurde gut verpackt geliefert. Nach dem Auspacken waren wir positiv überrascht, wie wertig sich das Display und das mitgelieferte Zubehör anfühlte. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist verständlich, in gutem Deutsch verfasst und mit zahlreichen Bildern versehen.Die Montage des Displays im Fahrzeug war sehr einfach. Es werden mehrere Halterungen mitgeliefert. Wir haben uns für die sehr variabel einstellbare und gut haltende Saugnapf-Halterung entschieden. Die Verbindung zum iPhone lies sich sehr einfach herstellen. Hilfreich dabei ist, dass auch auf dem Gerät selbst eine bebilderte Anleitung dafür bereit steht.Die Wiedergabe des Tones erfolgt in unserem Fall mittels des eingebauten FM-Transmitters über das alte Autoradio. Die Tonqualität ist mehr als ausreichend. Die Bildqualität des Displays ist gut. Auch die Touch-Funktionalität ist sehr gut und funktioniert ohne Probleme.Die mitgelieferte Rückfahrkamera haben wir auch installiert und sind mir der Qualität ebenfalls zufrieden. Bei Anschluss eine Steuerdrahtes an die Rückfahrleuchte schaltet das Display beim Rückwärtsfahren automatisch um.Insgesamt sind wir mit dem Display, dem Zubehör und der Funktionsvielfalt sehr zufrieden. Wir können das Display entsprechend den bisherigen Erfahrungen weiterempfehlen.

Review: Very easy to set up. Connection to the phone is quick and easy – I was using auto android. Easy to navigate menu. I paid £61 and it is worth that just to update an older cars cabin without pulling out the original radio. The connection to FM on the car radio makes for a very tidy install. However it does suffer from interference when used this way, I’d recommend an inline filter and connection to the auxilary port for a clearer sound. There is also the hiss on start up when used via the FM radio. Well worth the money, works well, be aware of minor issues using FM – best to use the Aux – nice sound, reasonably quick connection. Good!
