Title: Great Brain Workkout!
Review: I had several game sets 50 years ago in my 4th grade classroom for indoor recess days. An excellent learning tool that is fun.However, this recent purchase was for my local Senior Citizen Center. Still an excellent game to learn and play, to stimulate one’s brain. But the design is NOT good for Seniors.1. The game board is black and colors are hard to distinguish especially against that black.2. The code shield is nearly impossible to reach under and place the code pegs beneath it.3. The tiny pegs are …tiny, and hard to handle for arthritic fingers.4. The storage tray is an improvement, but again that tiny section for the tiny pegs is frustrating.I think my fourth graders would have the same difficulty with the code shield, too.I finally broke the tabs off that shield so it can be lifted out to position the code, and let it stand free over the code until revealed at the end. And I am seriously considering painting the game board white or cream so the colored pegs pop out.I’ve ordered another brand that is built differently. I hope it will be better.I’d like to suggest creating one for Seniors with these considerations.I would buy it!
