Title: Great for emergency lighting
Review: This 6-pack of emergency flashlight set offers peace of mind during power outages. They’re pretty convenient – just plug them in and they automatically illuminate when the lights go out. The design makes them easy to grab and the LED bulb provides a decent amount of light for navigating in the dark. Not the best or brightest flashlight, but good to have on hand in emergencies or just when you need something quick.Pros:- Automatic activation during power outages is a great feature- Rechargeable with built-in plug, no batteries to fuss with- Compact and lightweight, easy to handle and store- Good brightness for emergency situationsCons:- Not designed for heavy-duty outdoor use or long-range illumination- Recharge time isn’t that fastIn my experience, these types of devices last for a few years until the battery doesn’t hold enough charge for the devices to be useful. But for the few years they are operational, they are pretty handy to have around.

Title: Concerned about power outages in the bathroom during showers
Review: While the flashlight format is convenient, my primary reason for purchasing these lights is for safety. I was especially concerned about power outages in the bathroom during showers, which could leave someone in complete darkness and at risk of falls and injuries. At just over $7 each, the peace of mind these lights offer is well worth the cost, especially when considering the potential expense and consequences of a bathroom fall.A six-pack of these lights is sufficient for covering key areas like bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchens in a small home. They offer excellent value and have very good build quality. The red indicator light is perfectly balanced—noticeable without being too bright. The lights are incredibly user-friendly, requiring no instructions: switch on to use as a flashlight, plug into an outlet to turn the light off, and unplug to turn it back on. The switch on the front allows you to turn off the light when it’s unplugged and used as a flashlight. For use as a power failure light, simply leave it in the on position and plugged in.I appreciate that this model does not include a night light feature, as I don’t find that necessary. These lights are replacing similar ones that lasted 21 years, and I anticipate these will last at least 7 to 10 years.Addressing a concern raised by an earlier commenter about units overheating, these Eveready power failure lights include a built-in fuse as a safety measure to prevent overloads. I tested all six devices by charging them for 12 hours and then leaving them on as flashlights for an hour. They did not get warm at any point during charging or use. I believe the advertised 3-hour runtime is accurate.I highly recommend considering these power failure lights to protect yourself and your family. They don’t take up both power outlets like some other models. When the power goes out, you’ll be glad you purchased them.

Title: Good quality rechargeable lights.
Review: Seem to be very well made. I like that if you have the button in the on position while charging, they come on automatically if the power goes out. Makes it easy to find. They are lightweight and fit nicely in my hand. Always nice to have a fully charged flashlight on hand, ready to go if needed and with 6 in this set, there are enough to scatter throughout the house for easy accessibility. I cannot comment on the battery life as I haven’t had to use them for any length of time yet, but I don’t foresee any issues with that as everything else seems to be just fine.

Title: A thoughtful gift.
Review: As Christmas was rolling around last year I was trying to think of what to get my loved ones that would be practical. I live in an area where we do occasionally get power outages. And this got me thinking about emergency flashlights. For the price, these Energizer emergency flashlights are in my opinion a great buy. I appreciate the fact that they have been made so that the charging prongs slide back into the handle when not needed. Which makes them very easy to hold when using the flashlight. The little red charging light on the unit when it is plugged into the wall, is not bright enough to disturb me when I’m going to bed. The brightness of the flashlight is efficient enough to see your way around in the dark. The fact that I do not have to worry if the batteries in my other flashlights are good is one less thing I have to think about. Not to mention if I’m not close to one of my other flashlights in a drawer, with my Energizer emergency flashlight I at least have a red glow to guide me to it.After my loved ones had received my practical present, a couple weeks later we happen to have a power outage. My friends and neighbors were very thankful for my practical as well as useful present. The cost was very reasonable which allowed me to purchase multiple Energizer emergency flashlights for everyone on my list.Thank you for reading, and as always this is only my experience with the Energizer emergency flashlight.
