Title: Excellent tripod base
Review: I don’t give many 5-star reviews, but this little tripod attachment is deserving of one. This is, in my opinion, a great buy for under $25. Similar tripod bases sell for up to double what this one costs; just go to any camera store and take a look- many of them are in the ~$40 to $50 range and are made of injection-molded plastic. It’s all-metal construction and solidly made. No plastic is used on it anywhere. The fit and finish are very good. The legs adjust to several different positions and are long enough to give it a nice firm footing. The ball-head fits snugly, moves smoothly, and locks into place with no wobble or play. The hinges use actual screws you can loosen or tighten as needed instead of being riveted on.Two small hex keys are included so you can adjust the stiffness of the leg hinges. The legs have rubber feet that are molded on so they won’t fall off or get lost. It’s very stable and weighs enough so that it won’t tip over easily.A 3/8-inch to 1/4-inch adapter is included for equipment that uses the smaller 1/4-inch screw mount.Just make sure that whatever monopod you buy has a removable foot. Many monopods have a rubber foot with a retractable spike that doesn’t come off, which means it can’t be attached to a base of any kind. For example, the Amazon Basics monopod is a super deal for ~$20 or so but it doesn’t have a removable foot so it can’t be used with this (or any) tripod base.In short, this is a very nice, extremely well made tripod base that’s well worth the price (~$25).

Title: Finally a durable table top tripod for my spotting scope!!!
Review: I have been shopping and trying spotting scoped for my heavy spotting scope forever now and I FINALLY FOUND A GOOD ONE! Just to clarify this is a review for two different items. The three-legged stand shown in the pictures, and the panning head that is mounted on top also shown in the picture. Everything is made of cnc’d aluminum and is thick and sturdy. Just for a reference, my spotting scope is 76.6oz or 4.5lbs. AND THIS THINGS IS ROCK SOLID!!!! The three-legged base is rated for 176lbs and they mean it! The panning head rotates 360 degrees and has a tensioner to lock it in place. It also rotates forward and backward with the same quality. It also has a quick connect/disconnect base that you can attach to your camera or spotting scope. it then quickly slides in the tracks and locks firmly into the panning head. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.******Just to clarify there are two different pieces here that you need to buy. The three-legged base, and the panning head that secures on to the three-legged base.******MY ONLY COMPLAINT, is the three colored disc. There are two blue and the red/pink one. Seriously why wouldn’t you make them black!?! But whatever I will paint them black.

Title: Great monopod stand.
Review: I was looking for a base stand for my Feisol 1471 monopod and saw this highly reviewed table top camera tripod. I already have a sturdy gorilla brand table top tripod and did not need another one. But this table top tripod can effectively double up as a monopod base stand.I was surprised that the three legs can be folded up into a single unit, so the monopod stand on its leg as monopod. This was very pleasing to discover as the item description did not say so.When the legs are folded out it converts the monopod to a tripod. It is everything the other reviews have said, so no need repeating those points.Just to add that it is light, portable and yet has a solid feel to it.Paired with either FML SRB 60 or FLM QRP 70 clamp base, you can not go wrong.

Title: Limited functions but recommended as is very sturdy
Review: I bought this one primarily to have the ability to convert my Cayer CF2451 Video Tripod into a standing monopod. But I find it also useful as a mini tripod for holding my lights or my smartphone. I think this has limited functional as a standalone mini tripod as cannot be extended beyond the length of the legs (That is why I give just 4 stars to this one). Sturdy construction as the whole body is metal and the mechanism of the articulated legs is well-built. Adaptor for ¼” and 3/8” is included. Limited functions but recommended.

Title: I just received it. Seems solid.
Review: I sent for this to work with my equally new Neewer carbon fiber monopod for use in travel and video. I have mounted it to the monopod and it seems a marriage made in heaven. the legs are solid and stable, they have a neat metal latching mechanism that can easily be locked in and unlocked. the ball tightens up well yet offers enough tractions to make for a smooth foot movements with the monopod. And the feet close down facing up the monopod so you can use the monopod with the feet closed up. Time will tell but at first touch this seems like a strong, durable product. But only time will tell whether it is durable but it appears so.

Title: Sturdy and compact tripod
Review: The size, sturdiness and portability make this an excellent travel tripod even for a large DSLR. However, trying to use it on a Monfrotto monopod won’t work with the ⅜” to ¼” thread reducer as the ¼” screw end isn’t nearly long enough so my prime reason for purchasing this won’t work for my DSLR. I did order a thread reducer from another vendor that works in a pinch but doesn’t have the heft of the Cayer making it untrustworthy for a large camera yet substantial enough for a small point and shoot….especially in tight areas such as shown in my photo.
