Title: Excellent head unit with a bright, responsive display and Wireless CarPlay
Review: I wasn’t sure what to expect with this head unit for the price, but I was totally blown away when I tested it! For transparency, I did a full bench test with it hooked to a powered speaker and have not installed this in a car yet..To start, the instructions are just terrible. I have been installing car audio for about 35 years, so it was a typical hookup. If you are new to installing car audio, the manual will be of no help. I will say that the wires are all labeled nicely.Unpacking everything I found a complete kit including the head unit, several wiring harnesses, a GPS antenna, brackets, screws and a backup camera. It includes two separate speaker out harnesses; one with labeled wires and one pre-wired to connectors, though I have not found what vehicle that harness is for.I hooked up power and my speaker and powered it on. And wow! I did not expect a bright, hi-res display. The UI was intuitive and it runs on Android, so you have a lot of options. The capacitive touch was very responsive and swiping around was smooth. And the physical knob is very nice to quickly adjust volume and mute.Next I connected my iPhone and tried Wireless CarPlay. Everything worked as you would expect with minimal delay. The resolution shifts to larger icons than on a Boss head unit I have in my truck, but I actually like it better. I tested music and maps and everything worked well. It did take a bit of testing to figure out how to get out of CarPlay and back into it, bit it works fine.There was one song and a test video pre-loaded on the unit and they both sound and look amazing. I did try to test a few other apps that are preinstalled like YouTube and Netflix, but I did not have the unit connected to WiFi and they would not work. I thought they may be able to connect through my phone, but obviously CarPlay prevents that. I may test on WiFi or by using my hotspot later.Lastly, I tested a few things like themes and the DSP. It is preloaded with a dozen or so themes and some are neat. The DSP was quite impressive. You can easily adjust the curve using touch. Or, you can use the EQ and adjust each band or select a preset. All comparable to a higher end unit I have in my Jeep.Overall I am very impressed with this unit for the money. It is much better than the one I currently have installed in my truck, so I plan to swap them soon. If they could only provide a decent manual it would be a great unit. I have to knock one star off at least for that. I suspect there are options and functions I will have to find through trial and error.

Review: Doesn’t fit a standard double din bezel kit for my car. Having a hard time finding one that will fit.Will update if I can find something that works and actually be able test out it’s functionality.

Title: It’s a new install, so be ready to do a little work and wiring, but worth it in the end.
Review: You need to be patient and read everything twice before installing. There was a little more to the install than just plugging it in and go. It’s a great system interface between my phone and my vehicle. The apps are extremely helpful and the system itself looks great in my vehicle. I use several of the onboard applications in everything I do. Also, the customer service was kind and helpful in talking to me to help me along my install. When I first saw the product, I truly thought that it was just something you turn on and constantly have it mobile like a tablet. WRONG, WRONG! It’s a complete install. LOL. Anyway, it’s a good product and I’m getting another one for my wife.

Review: The functionality of this radio is impressive. It fit right in where my Dual unit used to be. Sounds great, has multiple options for hook ups and the Bluetooth connection was perfect. It’s listed at an amazing price. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
