Title: Fun after dinner game
Review: We have played this game almost every day since we got it. It’s quick and equal parts luck and strategy. We even played once with my 4 year old and face up cards and because of the luck aspect we could still play successfully. Highly recommend. Brought my husband and I back to the kitchen table for some fun post dinner.

Title: Fun Push Your Luck
Review: Incredibly fun game for 2 players! I love the way there’s only one of each tile, so there’s a fun push your luck aspect to the game.

Title: Fun and quick 2 person game
Review: Fun little game! Interesting game mechanic. I enjoy games where you’re competing, but on your own things. You’re trying to build your own landscape based on pieces for one complete picture. So you and your opponent will each have pieces of the entire picture. The person who has the most connected area of the larger image, and has maximized their points and bonuses, will win!

Title: Entrega dentro de lo estimado pero en malas condiciones
Review: Fecha dentro de lo esperado pero la caja del juego venia como si la hubiera traido un perro en la boca, llena de arañazos, abollada y rota por un lateral

Title: Great two player game
Review: This is a really fun and charming game that’s great for kids or adults. Each player is building their own panorama with land tiles as they explore the mountain. There’s a lot of room for strategy as you try to score points in different ways, such as creating a large group of connected tiles, building paths to light beacons and trying to encounter forest spirits by making a 2×2 groups of connected tiles. The game isn’t really complicated, but I do feel like you need to read the instructions carefully and reference them as needed until you’re more familiar with the gameplay.I like that there are instructions for a solo game. In a solo game, you play against the evil lynx forest spirit who uses pre-drawn tiles. It’s random how tough the evil spirit is to beat. I’ve had solo games where it scored almost no points and other games where scored a lot. It’s definitely a lot more fun to play with a friend, and I recommend playing the game with two players first before trying the solo mode.

Title: Lovely components, relaxing solo game, point optimization puzzle
Review: I love the art in this game and was mainly looking forward to trying it solo. The components are excellent – I like the small box (super portable), I love the colors, overall visuals, and clean graphic design, and the tile quality is great. Zero complaints about the physical elements. The solo AI is a pretty simple system and ends up making for a nice little puzzle that plays in about 10 minutes. There is certainly a luck element in which tiles the AI claims, but there are clever ways to start mitigating that to hopefully keep it from getting too many. It feels a bit more tactical than strategic since you’re generally responding to what draws you get and may not be able to plan ahead too successfully, but there are some interesting decisions in which tiles you decide to claim and how you fill out your map. After a few plays I started seeing some clever ways to work the system that weren’t immediately obvious. Overall, I enjoy the game solo and am looking forward to more plays. It’s not super deep, but for a quick little puzzle I like it.I then played it 2 player with my wife and this worked about the same, but I don’t think it clicked super well with us personally. With solo, claiming the tiles I need feels like a cool victory whereas in 2 player, we’re both often hoping for the same tiles so if I draw something I need, it usually means I’m also ruining her plans a bit. If you don’t mind more confrontational take-that games (or even enjoy them), this might be a great fit, but at 2p it lost a bit of the “relaxing” aspect I enjoyed from solo. It’s still pretty much the same system, and there’s no direct attacking or destroying another player’s stuff, but simply playing an important tile feels about the same. Working towards a nice setup and just never getting the chance to fill in the last 1-2 tiles needed to join some sections isn’t very fun, especially if someone knowingly deprives you of them. You can certainly use the rainbows instead, but there’s some luck involved with this as well so it’s not always a choice, especially late-game.Scoring is pretty simple and overall the rules are great. The flow of the second chance process was a little confusing until I walked through it once or twice and then it made sense. Overall, I really enjoy this as a solo game and will probably just play it that way. The 2p game feels a bit more take-that than I like – almost a bit like Lost Cities but for some reason that one feels more strategic while this feels a bit more disruptive.

Title: Quick and light game; lots of randomness, not a ton of strategy
Review: After a half-dozen play-throughs the wife and I think this might be a good game for the 8-12 age set. It sets up quick and plays fast, and the heavy random element precludes a lot of strategizing, if you are playing with someone who hasn’t quite mastered that skill yet. If you play with someone who kills games by analysis-paralysis, or if you are playing with someone who hasn’t had a lot of exposure to strategy games, this could be fun. If you are experienced and looking for something with some substance, this probably isn’t the right choice.I always hesitate when reviewing a game; they are almost always a labor of love and there is no wrong way to have fun when playing a game. Also, what constitutes enjoyable game-play is very subjective. That said, this game wasn’t for us. The game plays a bit like assembling a jigsaw puzzle where the pieces are numbered so that you know where they go, and where there is rarely more than one correct move to make. This is a subjective element, but for us there also wasn’t enough player interaction (I liken it to 2-player solitaire).I think this is probably a 2 or 3 star game for experienced players who are looking to exercise their skills, while it might be a 3 or 4 star game for those players looking for a 2-player game that just plays fast, doesn’t have much in the way of direct competition, and doesn’t require complete attention.
