A quick rundown of this product’s key features:
When Thomas heard the cries for help, he didn’t hesitate to do the right thing. It was his chance for redemption.
Until everything went wrong.
The cave should have been deserted. The perfect place to hide. Instead, it’s crawling with soldiers and engineers working to unearth the impossible:
Excalibur.
Deep beneath the mountain, she’s waited centuries to be found. Not a sword in the stone, but a starship. And according to the onboard AI, Thomas is the only one who can command her.
Now he’s on the run across a galaxy more astonishing and treacherous than he ever imagined, where magic and technology intertwine and ancient powers lurk in the shadows. Relentlessly hunted and hopelessly lost, he needs to learn fast if he wants to survive. Only his greatest challenge isn’t training to pilot a starship. It’s accepting that he, of all people, is responsible for reigniting the hope of a fallen kingdom.
King Arthur’s legend may be complete, but his is just beginning…

Title: Good, interesting..
Review: Interesting take on the whole King Arthur legend. Not what I expected. This is not a full book. It is only the first part of a story, the beginning per se. There is no middle or conclusion or anything. It just leaves off with a cliffhanger.I can’t say I have a negative criticism. However, the story did not meet my expectations for M.R. Forbes, even for a first book. Hopefully, the next in the series will be better. Part of this is probably because of the previous paragraph. I guess I shall see.

Title: Original
Review: I really enjoyed your book it was unexpected the story line was original and unexpected. I hope when I get my book published it will give others the joy your book has given me. I have enjoyed Syfy for many years now and at 70 I find that in so many ways it has a way of imitating real life. It can explain old mysteries in new ways that are not only entertaining but also therapeutic and even healing. Life is an amazing thing filled with so many unexplained things and Syfy stories are able to help give us a small view of a universe of possibilities if we keep an open mind to them. Thank you again for your story. I can’t wait to read the next chapter in Thomas’s adventure.

Title: Realistic fantasy story line.
Review: Starts with realistic story, gradually and subtle transition into fantasy. Couldn’t put it down. Looking forward to next installment. Scify, fantasy merged,

Title: Start on Chapter Eight
Review: The beginning is unnecessary backstory. While the premise lacks originality, the writing is sufficient to entice me to read the next installment. But I’m hoping for a serious deviation from the tired Camelot mythology.

Title: Advanced tech blend with Arthurian magic
Review: I’ll admit that I’m not much of a fan of wizards and mages, however this story blended them rather neatly with advanced technology.I’l also admit to enjoying an odd but interesting artifact:The scene: inside a space station:The description included this bit:”..the first of the ships rising from the tarmac and shooting through the gate and out into space.”Tarmac in a space station? 🤷🏻♂️ 😂😂😂It turns out that this book is but the first installment in a series. What a letdown. I’m not interested enough to read more installments. Too many other recent acquisitions to slog through multiple 300+ page chapters.

Review: A captivating tale that brings recklessness, old world charm and modern tyranny together on the same page. Nothing like what I have read from Mr Forbes before.

Review: I read many books; I’ve never given more than four stars for a review on any previous books I’ve read. The Starship In The Stone, in my opinion, is a book that has earned my elusive fifth star. Well done, I look forward to more books from this series and I’m glad I found the author M. R Forbes. I know whose books I’ll be reading in the future.

Review: Hat mir sehr gefallen. Natürlich muss man SF mögen. Wenn man aber erst mal angefangen hat schwingt man von einer Seite zur nächsten. Die Kombination des Arthur Mythos und Krieg der Sterne öffnet ein spannendes Thema indem man sich gerne fangen lässt.
