Title: Couldn’t Put This Book Down!
Review: I LOVED this book! This is my first Natasha Preston book I’ve read so far and I’m already obsessed! Her writing style flows really well and kept me hooked throughout the whole book—I could hardly put this book down, I devoured it within 24 hours! The suspense was very well written and I didn’t even have a chance to breathe while I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and I loved the constant unexpected twist and turns, it kept me hooked! The ending was very abrupt and a cliff-hanger, but it was left to the imagination mostly, which I prefer because I usually imagine and pretend my own happy ending for them. But, I couldn’t quite grasp an emotional connection to a few of them, which made them feel like extras and not important, but the main character was very well written and I loved her from the very start! But overall, an amazing read and I’d definitely recommend it if you love murder-mysteries that keep you on the edge of your seat guessing the entire time! I will definitely be reading more from Preston.

Title: creepy islands, influencers, and a killer on the loose. what could go wrong
Review: I enjoyed this novel a lot. I think this may be the first book by Preston that I’ve actually read and I was very happy with it. It’s a classic mystery in a similar style to And Then There Were None, but it added the fun twist of a theme park setting. A gothic theme park at that. This book was jam packed with references to media and definitely was YA. The killings weren’t overly graphic and the over all vibe of the characters involved was very trendy. The concept itself was amazing. I’ve always liked the whole creepy theme park angle in books and movies. In comparison to other novels it obviously has the natural baseline of every single mystery. But if you want to get into themes I think it could be compared to Hide by Kiersten White. The main difference between this and Hide is that this is a serial killer and in Hide the killer is a creature. But both involve younger victims and an amusement park setting

Title: Dumb ending
Review: I liked the book,it was engaging. I was so caught up in the story that when it ended, without a conclusion it took me by surprise. I read the acknowledgement thinking it must the next chapter. I was sure that I has missed something. But no, it just ended like the end of a chapter. It left a lot of questions. That would have been OK, if it were a series and I could read the next book to find out what happened to the characters. Sadly it does not appear to be the case. It seems like the last paragraph was for shock value, but it ruined the whole story for me. I doubt I would read any more of her books.

Title: The ending was terrible (CONTAINS SPOILERS)
Review: I rarely write negative reviews for books, but this one was very frustrating. The story itself is really well written and I couldn’t put it down. The ending is a very frustrating cliff hanger with no sequel so I guess I will never know what happened, hence the 2 stars. I like my books to have a beginning, a middle, and a ending. This has no ending, it just cuts off suddenly.SPOILERS ALERT BELOW:The characters behavior wasn’t believable towards the end of the book. I would imagine that if a killer is on the loose and you are in multiple buildings including a restaurant, that you would at the very least arm yourself with a kitchen knife. Also, if you believe help will arrive in a few days and there is a massive storm approaching, why wouldn’t you lock yourself in your room until help arrived, or at least until the storm was over. The bedrooms all had attached bathrooms and there was no shortage of food. I’m disappointed I paid $9 for this book.

Review: At first I DID enjoy the book, setting and its characters. But, as many people already stated, they do walk from one end to another without much sense. But the worst part was the ending to be honest. I don’t want to Spoiler it, but I’ve never read a worse one. Thank god I only bought the kindle version, otherwise I would have thrown it around In my living room. Two stars because I liked the setting on an island/amazement park and the main protagonist.

Review: As always with a Natasha Preston YA Thriller, this book does no disappoint in grabbing you straight into the story and holding on tight until youve read every single word!So Paisley is one of 6 influencers who has been invited to the new up and coming theme park which is based on a secluded island… what could go wrong? 😉When they arrive and all start to mingle together, friendships quickly start to form and alliances are made. Then the drama, twists and edge of your seat moments start to begin!Liked all these characters, the storyline and the cliffhanger at the end which we have begun to expect with these books!
