Title: Consistant power with Escort Redline 360
Review: My current vehicle does not have a 12v power plug anywhere close to the dash so I had been using a 12v power plug to USB 3 adapter for a few months, but was finding the radar detector would just power off for no reason.This adapter works outstanding with my Escort Redline 360 and provides plenty of power with no drop outs. The only negative side is that you lose functionality with the originally supplied 12v power plug that allows you to mute the detector via a button on it and also charge a device via old school USB. However, this is not so important when what I really need is an active radar detector and the 360 is very very good. Escort, please redesign your power cords with USB 3 in mind. All vehicles are going to this techology today.
