Title: $ave your money and your privacy
Review: If you only want to call, text, or send pics pivately this is the answer.The 4G is very quick, sms feature is easy to use, and adding a mini card allows you to save all the pics you will ever take. It has blue tooth and you can connect to your car for hand free calls.I don’t need the myriad of apps used in smart fones and I am not interested in having my contacts, pics, passwords, texts, and locations shared with every snoop, med. legal, and finance company.Best of all, every conversation you have isn’t sent to marketers who barrage you with endless advertising.The battery will power the fone for days and re charging is at your convenience.I like being on control of technology, not being controlled by it.

Title: Defective: Could not be charged.
Review: Apparently, Bayshine Trading does not perform any real testing on this Alcatel phone model before shipping. Neither the original nor the replacement phones were able to be charged. Both phones showed a 67% charge while connected to power. This never changed, regardless of charging time. Once you power up the phones, they showed a dead battery and promptly powered off. I wanted to love these phones. They looked to be in mint condition! Alas, I’m returning the second one as well. After contacting the seller, they sent me back to Amazon instead of answering my question. I’m buying one on eBay instead.

Title: Great Value For Device …. But Missing Accessories!!! 🙁
Review: Item arrived when expected, was in same as new condition best i could tell still had the plastic factory protectors on the screens, was fully charged and everything worked as it should, battery life has been as it should be after a week of use. Had no issues getting device activated on service. Only negative I will note is that the package sealed from the seller and sealed in an Amazon box did not come with USB cable and power adapter as stated in the listing and when i tried to report this all I was able to get was a generic automated AI response no human interaction and only option it wanted me to do or offered was to return the device for a swap or refund which was unacceptable as it was needed for emergency use by elderly parents ASAP and could not wait for the turnaround for doing such, plus device was already activated by the time I was even able to that option anyway, so I had to eat the cost of buying them a new cable and power adapter locally for more money ontop of the cost of the device. Otherwise I can say excellent device for price and use case so give it a try. So I will give ***** for device, price and shipping … and ** for lack of stated included items with device i.e. USB cable and power adapter and the option to actually speak with a live person be it on sellers end or Amazons … I guess the day of human interactions especially when one has an issue are gone now.

Title: Product is just what I needed for my young teen
Review: The phone I received at first seemed like it wouldn’t charge, but after plugged in for a while it came on. At first the battery seemed to drain quickly but after charging for 24hrs the battery lasts a long time!!! I had to ammend my negative review because this phone is just what I needed for my 14yr old daughter who was caught being inappropriate on social media on her iPhone. I have confiscated the iPhone and swapped her Simcard to this phone and it works beautifully. The best part about it is my daughter now comes out of her room and spends time with family and I can tell she is happier without the pressures of social media destroying her self esteem. She has only been without the internet for two days and already comes out of her room and spends hours with her sister and I, she has tried cooking tanghulu and is cleaning up her room and doing other things she was previously too distracted with an iPhone to do! I can’t wait for my little girl to heal and blossom

Title: Perfect phone if you do not want to use with the internet
Review: My husband, who is in his 60’s, wanted another basic phone! This one has been perfect! No problems with it so far and he has had it now for quite some time. Works and looks just like the one he first got directly from T-Mobile, which did not start to fail until he accidentally dropped it in a very hard way. I am sure the first one would still have been working if this hadn’t happened, as these are pretty sturdy phones and can take the average drop!

Title: Did not Boot
Review: The phone was stuck at the boot screen: “Alcatel: Powered by KaiOS”.I could not find a way to get it to boot. I was able to get to the recovery screen (power+up button) and factory reset, wipe cache/partition, removed and replaced battery, tried with a SIM and without, tried with (my own) SD card and without, etc.There was no SD card provided. I’m not sure if I need to have that with some software already on it?

Title: Perfect for seniors
Review: Perfect phone for seniors to use. I was very disappointed when T-Mobile stopped selling this phone in stores. Happy I found it online.
