Review: As both a parent and educator, I love the Step Into Reading books! They always have the kids favorite characters and make them fun to read. Since all of my children could speak, I have had them read to me using only the pictures to help them make up a story! Level 1 is great for that or the new reader. They help build confidence! You know when your child sleeps with their favorite book, it was a huge win! Of course, it helps we are huge CARS fans as well!

Review: I ordered this book based on Amazon’s description that is is a “complete retelling of Disney presentation of a Pixar film latest computer-animated film, Cars.” It is definitely NOT that. Instead, it’s a simple book of opposites, using pictures from the movie. Here are some examples from the book: “Dirty car. Clean car. Nice car. Mean car. Drive fast, fast, fast. Drive nice and slow.” If you are looking for a book of opposites for a child who loves the movie ‘Cars’, then this book is for you. If you are looking for a book that tells the story, this isn’t the one you want to buy.
