Title: A fun flavor of Risk
Review: Fun. Works like Risk with some ROG sequence additions for flavor. Easy enough to pick up and a little more replay vale than the basic game.

Title: Thinking outside the box.
Review: I am not the typical board game enthusiast. At any given time I own hundreds of different board games, some of which have been in my collection for decades, and others come and go. Sometimes the games that I keep need new components, because the original components wear out, and need to be replaced. In most cases those games are out of print, and are only available through secondary market’s, which can be expensive. So I keep an eye out for new games that have components that I can use for replacement parts.I’d love to be able to tell you that this version of Risk is a great game, but I can’t. I can tell you that I love the components that are in the box, and they will help to keep some of my older games alive. All together, these components helped to save 3 older, and quite expensive games. This version of Risk saved me hundreds of dollars. Like they always say, sometimes you have to think outside of the box.

Title: Better game than has been reported.
Review: If you liked the original Risk: Legacy, don’t expect more of the same here. But the game, taken as is, can be fun and as I said, it is much better than has been portrayed. I wouldn’t spend more than $40, but that cost and less, is worth it, in my opinion.

Title: Sadly A Bad Sequel
Review: I really wanted to like this game as much as the original Risk Legacy, but cannot. This game is simply broken by the Warlord and Warfare cards. Literally, “no plan survives first contact with the enemy” when they can suddenly drop and couple cards in the middle of your turn. Even on the first or second turn the whole thing can go to hell – wipe out your your troops without the roll of a die, and add a few of their own. It is not a fun change. All aspects of planning from the original Risk or Risk Legacy is lost. This is just stupid chaos sadly.

Title: Depends on Price
Review: It’s just one of MANY variations of Risk. However, this is a legacy type game. It’s very important that you understand what that means as a buyer BEFORE you buy it.The process of playing this game requires that you will be making permanent PHYSICAL modifications to the game material. It’s also much more complex then classic risk. I don’t like the idea of alterations to the game because as soon as you play it, the resale values drops like a mobile home. Games like this are pleasant to some players but I would not recommend it for a young kid or anyone that like to replay the exact same game with the same conditions.I bought this on a deal of the day, which was half the cost. I would NOT pay normal price for it. I just don’t think it’s worth more than $25 to most people unless they have played a legacy game beforeand love it.
