Title: Functions as advertised, cheap quality, the box & instructions need work but device works
Review: Well it functions as advertised, and it was easy to set up even though the instructions weren’t as helpful as I would have liked. It can transmit and receive, the range kinda fluctuates but that could be my device but either way it achieves what its rated for. The item and package have a cheap feel, and Im not a fan of how the box says Wireless Receiver and transmitter with DISPLAY, but obviously from the pictures you see there isnt a Display. Sound quality is about what you would expect, good, but nothing to brag about… but again it does what it says it can do, as far as I can tell.

Title: It definitely works, but sound is only in mono! Useless for music playback.
Review: This bluetooth transceiver is probably about as cheap as they come. I found that it did work as advertised, pairing with my bluetooth headphones was very easy. When plugged in I held the button down for a few seconds and the light started flashing red. I put my headphones into pairing mode and they found each other and connected within a few seconds. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy pairing was, especially given that it doesn’t have any screen or buttons to choose which devices to pair with. Unfortunately, this is about where the positives end. I got this so that I could connect it to my receiver and listen to my records through wireless headphones. It definitely does achieve this, but the sound is very disappointing. Some other reviews have mentioned that the audio comes through as mono. I can confirm this unfortunately is true. I confirmed this by setting it in transmit mode and connecting my phone to the input. I tried playing a stereo audio test track that plays audio in each channel separately. When the left channel played the audio could be heard in both sides, there was no audio at all when the right channel was played. This confirms that this device is not truly outputting stereo audio, which makes it completely useless for music playback if you care even a little bit about sound quality. This is unfortunate, but not totally unexpected given the very low cost of this device. Most good bluetooth transmitters cost at least twice what this one does. If you are going to be using this transmitter for things like audiobooks, podcasts, or phone calls, it might work okay for you. I would highly recommend staying away from this if you are planning on using it for music playback.

Title: Was more troublesome than it’s worth
Review: I was excited for this transmitter. I use a different transmitter when flying and my main issue is that it’s rechargeable, so I have to bring a separate cord to charge it. This having a built-in USB made that very easy, but it didn’t work well as I hoped.PROS:- Convenient USB plug so no need to chargeCONS:- Constantly disconnected: it was so hard to keep this connected. It would start with weird sounds on the headset, then finally disconnect.- Does not maintain pairing: once it’s unplugged, it forgets that it was connected to my Airpods Pro. I had to pair it so many times on one flight.- While the USB power seemed like a good idea, for one flight, it made it so that the plug was upside down. Not a big issue normally but the light indicator that tells you whether the adapter was ready for pairing was only on one side. So I had to hold a mirror under the USB to see the light coming from it and see if I can now pair my Airpods.Overall, would not recommend getting this.

Title: Disappointing
Review: I had great hopes for using this with my headphones; but it failed one several counts. From the item description, and the (not so great) instructions; it’s supposed to have a chargeable battery.I tried charging it twice; once from my laptop, and once from a separate charger. As soon as you unplug it; the lights go out, and stay out. I was only able to get it to stay on by leaving it plugged into a power bank.I tried pairing it twice; once after the time when I’d tried charging it with the laptop, and again after using a charger. Both times it made a connection; and then shut down.I don’t need it for anything that I can plug it into with the USB plug; so it’s no use for anything I use.I had hopes for it; but they weren’t met.

Review: The idea behind this device is that it only takes power from the USB port. It does not appear as a Bluetooth device to any host that it is plugged into. Audio input in transmitter mode and audio output in receiver mode is accomplished through the 3.5mm standard audio jack. This Bluetooth 5.0 device has only a single button and no display, so you might wonder how it handles pairing when multiple devices are available. The manual indicates that you can press the single button repeatedly to cycle through the available devices until you find the correct one. This works surprisingly well and keeps both the device and the interface small, simple, and ergonomic. This little dongle is super useful when you need to convey some analog audio over Bluetooth to or from a device that doesn’t have Bluetooth built in.It’s particularly handy if you need to get some audio from an analog audio source to an older powered pro audio speaker from the pre-Bluetooth era. Bluetooth 5.0 has good fidelity and low latency, so it works well in this application.

Review: I have received this for free with the Amazon Vine program, in exchange for a completely unbiased review and perspective. No strings attached!Looking to add Bluetooth to your TV, car, or old speakers without spending a fortune? The Wodgreat USB Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter Receiver is a tiny, budget-friendly gadget that promises to modernize your audio setup. After putting it through its paces, here’s what you need to know-both the good and the not-so-great!What’s to Love?Super Easy Setup: Plug it into a USB port for power, connect the included 3.5mm cable to your device, and you’re ready to pair. Switching between transmit (TX) and receive (RX) modes is just a long press of the single button away. Pairing is quick and straightforward, and the device automatically reconnects to the last paired device-a real time-saver!Versatile Modes: Whether you want to stream TV audio to your Bluetooth headphones or turn your old car stereo into a wireless music hub, this adapter does both. It’s also handy for in-flight entertainment systems, letting you use your own headphones instead of airline freebies.Hands-Free Calling: With a built-in microphone, you can take calls through your car’s speakers, making driving safer and more convenient. It’s a practical touch for those who spend a lot of time on the road.No Charging Hassles: Since it draws power directly from USB, you’ll never have to remember to charge it. Just plug and play-perfect for travel or on-the-go use.Ultra-Portable: At just 5 grams, it’s smaller than most thumb drives and slips easily into any bag or pocket. What Could Be Better?Mono Audio Only: This is the biggest drawback. Despite using Bluetooth 5.0, the adapter outputs mono sound-so both left and right channels are merged. This is fine for calls, podcasts, or basic audio, but music lovers will notice the lack of stereo separation and “tinny” sound. If you’re hoping for rich, immersive audio, you’ll be disappointed.Sound Quality: Beyond being mono, the audio quality is best described as “just okay.” Highs and lows are muted, and there’s a noticeable loss of depth. For audiobooks or voice calls, it’s acceptable, but for music or movies, it falls short of expectations. No Internal Battery: While USB power is convenient, you can’t use it standalone with headphones or speakers unless you have a USB power source nearby. Power banks may not work well, as some shut off due to the device’s low power draw.Build Quality: The plastic shell is lightweight and feels a bit flimsy. It’s not likely to survive many drops, and the packaging/manual are barebones. At this price, it’s understandable, but worth noting if you want something more robust. No Volume Control: You’ll need to adjust volume from your source device or use headphones with their own controls-there’s no onboard adjustment.Occasional Pairing Quirks: Some users report needing to re-pair devices more often than they’d like, especially if unplugged. And because there’s only one button and no display, figuring out pairing status can be a bit of a guessing game.Who Should Buy This?Anyone who needs a quick, cheap fix for adding Bluetooth to old gear-especially for calls, podcasts, or basic audio.Travelers who want to use their own headphones with in-flight entertainment.People who don’t care about stereo sound or high fidelity, and just want something that works for voice or casual listening.Who Should Skip?Audiophiles, music lovers, or anyone expecting rich, stereo sound. Those who need a standalone, battery-powered adapter for portable use.Users looking for a rugged, long-lasting device.Bottom Line:The Wodgreat USB Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter Receiver is a handy little tool for basic wireless audio needs. It’s affordable, easy to use, and does what it claims-but with clear limitations in sound quality and stereo output. If you’re after a quick Bluetooth upgrade for calls, podcasts, or travel, it’s a solid value. For music or movie lovers who want the best sound, you’ll want to invest a bit more for a true stereo adapter.Rating: 4 out of 5 stars-great for simple needs, but keep your expectations realistic!

Review: This Bluetooth transceiver can act as a wireless audio host or a wireless audio client. I was interested in the latter for driving wired headphones. Unfortunately, this device posed some serious limitations for my intended application. The device is fairly easy to pair with a smartphone or PC. Holding the sole button put it in pairing mode: press it more than once if necessary until a blue light flashes for receiving mode; flashing red is for use as a transmitter. The device identifies as “Wireless Music Adapter” in Bluetooth device scans. Once paired, playing audio on the host causes sound to come out on the 3.5 mm headphone jack. A single click on the button alternately pauses and resumes playback, which is nice. The device has no volume control so you need to put hands on the host device or use headphones with their own volume controls.I found the device be powered as a receiver by a USB power bank. Unfortunately, the device draw so little power that smart batteries do not detect significant current draw and shut down, typically in about 1 minute. I did find one of my fully charged power banks ran the receiver indefinitely, but when I tried again later, when the battery was down to 80%, the Bluetooth receiver kept turning off within a minute. I concluded that battery operation is largely unworkable unless you find a battery with constant low output. The transceiver accepts a standard 3.5 mm three-pole headphone plug. Since the documentation mentions headsets, a four-pole plug should work as well. While sound is produced on left and right sides of stereo headphones, the sound is the same on both sides. Bluetooth is a designed with stereo, so why must this device collapse it into monophonic sound? I will guess the answer is the use of a lowest-cost digital-to-analog conversion chip. The quality of sound is poor. Besides being mono, music is robbed of most of its low and very high frequencies. All that remains is a tinny or hollow representation of lost richness. Fidelity may be lower than AM radio. If you happen to plug in high-grade in-ear-monitors, constant slow clicking and very fast clicking is audible. Make sure you use only cheap speakers and low-grade headphones. Why does this device connect by modern Bluetooth 5.0 only to generate audio using horribly substandard DAC circuitry? This device might work for an audio relay system where fidelity is unimportant and wall outlet power is always connected. Set aside expectations for dedicated music enjoyment.

Review: I don’t know what I expected of this product but, given the price, I expected betterThe good:- Functional: It does the core of what it says. It transmits and receives, so it gets points for that. It also paired really easily with both my pairs of headphones (one of the easiest paring experiences I’ve ever had), so there’s that as well- Size: It’s quite small. Smaller than most thumb-drives, and on par with similar devices from other manufacturersThe less good:- Durability: This thing is way too light to last many drops. The plastic shell seems very thin, and the contacts aren’t the greatest- Instructions and Packaging: Not a huge deal, but the packaging isn’t great, and the instruction manual isn’t a lot betterThe bad:- No Battery: It may be a translation problem, but there are multiple indications both in the listing and in the manual that this would have a battery. It doesn’t. This makes it pretty useless for any activities that don’t use the USB port unless you carry a power source with you- The sound profile: Like other reviewers have said, this thing appears to output in mono. The manual also claims it can do ANC (it either does not, or it’s not working for me. Either way, it’s a silly claim for an item this price)Bottom line: I’d suggest you consider your options before you take the plunge on this one. If you don’t need the USB connection, there are some excellent bluetooth transmitter/receiver units for less than $25CDN on Amazon.
