Title: Capable lens, inadequate structure
Review: The lens is fully capable of some nice and very easy bocah, however simply packing it in my bag, flying to another state, and simply turning the FN ring, I hear a slight plastic snap noise, and suddenly the lense is barely hanging on together…. focuses when pushed together, but FN ring is shot.Advice when buying this budget lens, get as much as you can out of it before it cracks.

Review: Bin Begeistert. Fotos machen wie vor 50 Jahren. Es macht noch Spaß durch den Sucher zu gucken. Ist nicht zu vergleichen mit meinem 400 Tele. Aber für den relativen Nahbereich 85 mm ist schon ein echter Klopper. Die Schärfe nachzuführen ging noch ein bisschen schwer bei Blende 1.8. Aber nach 2Std Fotos machen hat es sich eingearbeitet .Das Fußballspiel war auch zu Ende Von 286 Fotos waren nur 6 etwas unscharf. Bin mit zufrieden mit dem Objektiv und nur über den Sucher eingestellt. Guter Preis.

Review: I bought this lens mostly out of curiosity. I ti a completely manual lens so one has to experiment a little with exposures, which is not too much of a problem with the instantly viewable images that digital cameras provide. Shoot, look and adjust exposure settings if required. Focus is mechanism is firm and smooth, very pleasant to use. For me, it has produced sharp and pleasing images. For what it cost, I am delighted with this lens.
