Title: Top Outdoor Camera
Review: Best camera yet. The off site interface on your mobile phone is wonderful and not to mention the quality!!. Its beautiful and it picks up a wide-scale. The audio is crisp and not to mention how bright the lights are. Definitely a must have for home security. The notifications are real-time and I love how u can customize the sensitivity of the motion. Great buy for anyone looking to get an outdoor camera.

Title: Ring Quality, With Caveats
Review: Device quality is superb as usual w/Ring. However I’m giving 4 stars because for this particular offering you DO NOT receive “4” batteries.The device battery compartment has two slots that each hold a 2 battery pack. For this offering Ring will give you ONE. You will need to go back on Amazon and order another one for $35, but you can get it delivered same day. You may also NOT RECEIVE MOUNTING SCREWS OR ANCHORS. Again, easily remedied – just go back on Amazon and get yourself a one or two pack of mounts for about $17.Also if you’re getting this device, I’ve learned from a previous mount that you need to purchase the solar panel with mount. I’m putting this camera where a Blink camera used to be and if you haven’t yet experienced the annoyance yourself you NEED A POWER SOURCE TO KEEP THE CHARGE. Do NOT tell yourself you’ll “just take them out and recharge them for now”. NO. You’re only gonna end up wishing your camera were on while your pants were down or worse, you’ll start slacking off.Seems like for this offering they give you a pristine device but withhold necessary hardware to keep the price down. If you do the math for “like new” + what you have to buy aftermarket vs the whole package upfront, its still a win but more or less personal preference.UPDATE:After adding the second battery & mounting the camera and solar panel I’m happy to say this was fantastic purchase. My “like new” camera looks and performs with all of the expected quality of Ring cameras. Mounting was easy, just make sure you use either masonry or platinum drill bits to get through the stucco. I drained about 10% out of each battery playing with it before sundown. By 9am the next morning when I checked the solar panel was active and the batteries were already back at 100%.Get the extra battery.Get either the small or large solar panel.I recommend using an aftermarket camera mount.I generally do not buy refurbished products when it comes to electronics but I couldn’t be more pleased.

Title: Purchased the subscription I spent $1,000 my money it’s useless now!
Review: I bought 4 of these cameras either the spot light they’re pricey two burnt out within months and got replacement one of them just completely burnt out shortly after receiving it and getting it set up continuously it wasn’t charging or working properly I had no help from ring services or Amazon even though it clearly said with paid subscription all my ring devices are covered under warranty, just getting the run around now. They will not warranty my system

Title: Can’t tell the difference from new, except for the price!
Review: TLDR: The camera looked new and worked like new. They are really easy to set up, this one had a small label inside on the quick start menu that I scanned with the Ring app to add it to my system. Connected, ran an update and works perfectly!Long version: I wanted to add a camera to my side garage entry door, mostly to see what critters are trying to raid my trash cans at night. I always see the neighbor’s motion lights going on and off at odd hours which covers the same area. When I check the driveway cam I often see trash pandas, opossums, rabbits, even the occasional armadillo or bobcat making it’s rounds. I enjoy seeing the parade at night and always hope I don’t have to witness the food chain in action (so far so good!).I had to put a latch on the trash can as the trash pandas (raccoons to some) were getting into them. I left a can out front one night and watched one do a full on gym rat pull up on the handle, climb onto the lid and do a spiderman/ninja move hanging over the edge to open the flip lid. They go in and grab the loot and then prairie dog it to check for danger before decorating the lawn with egg crates and take out containers. Now I can watch these antics, commercial free with the cans put away where they belong. It might deter burglars too, I guess, but luckily we don’t get much of that in my area. It’s like watching Hans and Franz from SNL, spiderman, Jackie Chan movies and Guardian’s of the Galaxy, uncensored and commercial free, right in my own yard.
