Title: Great find; good variety
Review: This is a great find! If you’re looking for a mix of popular chocolates with fun variety, this box is perfect. There is indeed 5lbs of chocolate, with a lot of different types. It arrives in a nicely printed box that you can use as a display if you’re planning to leave it out for co-workers (but maybe put some tissue paper in it). The expiration date on my box was 12-31-2025, which is plenty of time to consume it. I would consider this “fresh”.One thing I would note; this contains a lot of peanut/treenut containing candies. The vast majority of the treats are Reese’s peanut butter cups, M&Ms, and Hershey’s nougats, so this would be a bad fit for a classroom or around children that might have severe allergies.I did not receive any Mr. Goodbar, whoppers, or crunch bars; I’m sad about the whoppers, but the candy bars you see in the ad listing don’t necessarily match what you’ll get. Please see the photo I attached that contains one of every unique candy bar. I only had 3-5 of each ” high caliber” bar (eg. Snickers, milky way, twix, etc.). All in all, it’s a reasonable value for what you get, and in great condition upon arrival. I would hedge your expectation on exact bars, but otherwise it’s an awesome find!
