Title: This design blows, I hate it
Review: Wow- I HATE this stylus more than I ever imagined I would or could. It works on my new ThinQ and thats is the only good thing I can muster to say about it. The disc on the tip is annoying garbage which renders the stylus useless if removed.BUT, the infernal clack and tapping it generates when you are writing or using it for texting with the keyboard is ridiculous. Its not something I can get used to and i cant understand WHY it had to be a thing at all- I know why they SAY its better but its just not. I had perfect accuracy with my stylo3,4,&5 and the thin tipped mesh tip stylus it came with. Now, that had its own idiotic design problems because I bought AT LEAST 50 Stylo styluses over the time I had each Stylo due to the mystifying shortcoming they NEVER ADDRESSED over YEARS of new Stylos: the outrageous and eventually unforgivable failure to put a ring or hook of some kind on the end of that stylus so it could be tethered to and remain with the phone at all times. Attached, you see- and not fall out and be lost (sometimes within an hour of receiving the replacements!) They couldn’t allow for simple tether modification so you could keep your stylus and not constantly be searching for it and buying new ones and using superglue and string to attach it or puncturing a tiny hole in the end and forcing wire through it and then string and IT BECAME UNFORGIVABLE. And yet I wish I was using that stupid stupid stylus right now instead of this hideous clattering stick with a stupid flat plastic tip on the point. I’ve lost my 2 plastic tips already and I just laughed -Was GLAD-when they second one went missing off the stylus. Relieved. Ordered a Bamboo stylus and I swear to God if there is some unforeseen unnecessary annoying design fu%kery going on when I receive it I just don’t know WHAT I might do. Its bewildering how bad the designs can be or how such fundamental failures are left unaddressed for years with a product. WHY? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING a good product that is reliant on ANOTHER PRODUCT they make that just SUCKS and which causes their customers to repeatedly experience feelings like CHAGRIN, frustration, anger, self loathing, & confusion,(as to WHY IT CANT EVER BE IMPROVED FFS!?) A stylus needs a tether or it will be lost. This one has a clip to attach a tether(I was THRILLED until I started writing) but it also has a stupid plastic disc that made a racket when using it and then FALLS OFF AND IS INSTANTLY LOST. It falls off quite easily if you use your phone all day and carry the stylus around on a tether and do not put cap back on over and over and over- I am using my phone constantly and set it down for 2 minutes before needing to note something again so I’d be screwing that cap on or off all day long and im not doing that. And it won’t work AT ALL if its lost. So there you have it: I hate this stylus because it blows. The designers of most styluses seem to be half wits and depraved sadists. Also this stylus really blows..Good Day.
