Title: “Sick Man’s Rage,” Is All the Rage!
Review: Sick Man’s Rage, by authors Amir Tsarfati, and Steve Yohn was an excellent read. If you are a Tom Clancy fan, you will find similarities in the quality of writing. Great book for history and military buffs but also helpful for those who may lack understanding or knowledge about the Middle East and most especially that of Israel, and its people and culture.This book will pull you in from the very beginning, starting with October 7, 2023 at the Supernova concert that took place in western Negev desert near kibbutz Ré im in Israel, to the brutal massacre that unfolded upon innocent civilians by Hamas.The characters are written with such depth, I would be surprised if you couldn’t find at least one character that you could identify with. While reading the Mossad team planning their tactical exercises, you may even find yourself rationalizing your own plan of action, I know I did.In among this exciting book, you’ll find that even at the most challenging times, whether it’s an attendee at the concert who is running for their life or the main character like Nir Tavor, the Israeli Mossad agent, are having gut wrenching moments of spiritual perspectives on their faith in God or lack there of, and their mortality. This is something we all will deal with whether we choose to do so while we are alive or if we choose to procrastinate. Before you say, you’re not interested in purchasing this book because there are moments of “religious” reflection, this book is written in a non-confrontational way.The ending, well, it’s just as riveting as the start of the book; so are you REALLY coming to the end?! You’ll have to read for yourself to make that decision.

Title: Believer or Non-believer – you will appreciate this well written book! Highly recommend
Review: Another excellent novel by Amir Tsarfati and Steve Yohn! Breaks my heart when I read the actual events that took place, which is emersed in the story line. For the non-believer, they will enjoy the action and well written story. My prayer is that a seed is planted and they seek the truth about Christ before it is too late. But for the believer, we see the events unfolding in our world today and how they align with the Word. And we glean a better understanding of what is happening in the Middle East and with our precious Israel. Whether you want to be entertained or fed, I highly recommend this book. Get the prior three too! They are all excellent!

Title: A bit of a mixed bag this one!
Review: The final instalment in this engrossing series starts with a heart wrenching bang! We get to experience the horrors of the October 7 attack and the authors manage it both delicately and with accuracy.Nir Tavor and his Kidon team are tasked with hunting down the leaders of that horrific event which takes them to various locales. This was written well and kept me on my toes with anticipation.The story then got a bit sluggish as Israeli’s leaders strategise about what’s next. Which of their particular enemies will launch the next attack, on what, where and how? It’s fascinating to read but slowed down some of the movement of the story.The action picks up again in the last third of the book when the team spends more time considering one particular nation, their leader being the one that reflects the title of the book. In addition, Nicole Le Roux, Nir’s love interest, and Mossad analyst, sometime international model speculates about end times.The end of the book and series is especially surprising. I’m not sure it was done well, but I’m only one reader. The Author’s note at the back is both fascinating and enlightening and great knowing these two authors have more to come with a new series.
