Title: Top rondel game with constant changing strategies and great production
Review: A constantly evolving board state means you have to make small changes to strategy every turn to keep ahead. It really is a fun little 2 hours of gaming. The rondel keeps this smooth changing of strategies going.It looks great on the table! Quality of the board and overall production is above average expectations. Rulebook is fairly well done too.It takes about 20-30 minutes to read the rules and get it going. I would say 15 minutes to teach? Maybe a bit longer for those not familiar with a more eurocentric title.The only issue I have overall is that I think it might be just adaptive enough that specific people might not enjoy reading ahead. Preplanning for your turn right when the player before you is going instead of doing a set strategy from the start is required. The rondel is just too adaptive to read far ahead as many euros allow. This means specific euro players might not want to play again, while others might find it amazing. Kind of a hard discussion for those players to get to the table. For my groups it has been a hit though.
