Review: I tested this flash on a Canon 5dii and a Canon R5ii. The flash functioned just as expected on both cameras. Both cameras recognized the flash and controlled flash functions as much as the menu system normally allows. The flash has plenty of power, I actually found myself reducing the output. It comes with a pouch, some colored filters, and a cold shoe stand.The remote that comes with the flash is just a trigger. You need to control the flash power and camera settings manually which is probably for the best since ETTL is not great for off camera flash anyway. This flash has the capability to control other units but only from this brand. I tried using it with 2 different Canon brand flashes and they would not communicate with each other..The instructions for this flash are a bit cryptic in parts and the text is super-small. However, most of the functions are similar to other flashes of this style.

Title: Good flash unit for Canon dSLR
Review: This is the first speedlight I’ve owned, despite having a Canon DSLR for about 15 years now. I don’t usually use flash in my photos as I don’t tend to take many shots of people. That being said, I loaded it up with batteries and tested it out with my 50mm lens, which is best for portraits.The manual sheet included is written for an advanced user, someone who already has experience with speedlight flashes, so it was a little slow going to try and slog through. I ended up just connecting it to the hot shoe and playing with the settings.It was nice to be able to adjust the intensity of the flash and avoid washout of the subject. I found that angling it upwards and using the built-in reflector helped by adding light to the entire room as well as to the subject, making light metering and focusing easier for the camera.I have not used it on the stand as a slave unit flash because I am still trying to figure out the wireless controls and how the remote works. There is one quick sentence in the instructions regarding the remote before launching into the instructions for using the flash remotely, so I’ll need more time to play with those functions.Overall, it seems to be a simple and functional piece of equipment. I’ll have to looks for some tutorials on how to use it most effectively, but I think I should get the hang of it.One thing of note, the gels for coloring the light don’t appear to have a holder, and they’re larger than the lens of the flash itself, allowing white light to leak around them. The only way I’ve found to hold them in place is with the astigmatism plate that pulls out from the flash head, and the velcro holder is odd. I’m not really sure what to do with it or the length of velcro that was included in the box.

Review: Ich habe mich schon lange mit dem Gedanken an einen Blitz für meine EOS D90 beschäftigt. Als vine-Tester kam mir daher das Angebot, diesen Blitz zu testen, gerade recht!Zuerst wird man von der Funktionsvielfalt und den möglichen Einstellungen überwältigt. Hier muss man sich wirklich einarbeiten – das wird bei mir noch dauern. Vor allem, weil die beiliegnede Anleitung ein wenig „dünn“ ist.Bereits jetzt gefällt mir die gute Lichtleistung, die schnelle Aufladung des Blitzes und die Möglichkeit mit Batterien oder Akkus zu arbeiten. Die integrierte Streulinse ist auch ein schönes Feature. Die Geschichte mit dem Vorsatzfiltern, die per Klettverschluss angebracht werden müssen, ist allerdings ein wenig “fummelig”, aber allem Anschein nach, gängige Praxis.Dafür entschädigt dann wieder die Funkauslösung und damit Verwendung des Blitzes z.B. auf einem Stativ. Ein kleiner Standfuss wird mitgeliefert, ebenso natürlich der Kameraaufsatz für die Steuerung.Das Produkt fühlt sich wertig an und ich bin sicher, dass ich bisher nur einen Bruchteil der Funktionen ausprobieren konnte. Was ist bisher nutzen konnte und der Gesamteindruck gefallen mir außerordentlich gut. Wenn man dann noch den günstigen Preis bedenkt, kann es nur eine Empfehlung geben.

Review: Avant tout, je précise que j’ai utilisé ce flash sur mon Lumix GH5, un boîtier Micro 4/3 très populaire, et bien qu’il soit précisé qu’il est compatible avec les boîtiers Canon, il fonctionne bien. Il est également adapté au système d’attache “cold-shoe” de mon GH5. Je n’ai pas encore identifié de limitation particulière avec mon Lumix.Toutefois, je conseille de bien vérifier la compatibilité avec votre boîtier, non seulement pour vous assurer du bon fonctionnement, mais aussi pour anticiper d’éventuelles limitations liées à certaines fonctions spécifiques.Ce flash offre une grande variété de modes tels que E-TTL automatique, manuel, stroboscopique (Multi), et une gestion sans fil complète en 2,4 GHz (mode maître/esclave).
On retrouve aussi les fonctions avancées comme la synchro haute vitesse, le second rideau, ou encore la compensation d’exposition au flash.La navigation dans les menus m’a demandé un certain temps d’adaptation, mais les options sont riches et bien organisées. Les boutons physiques donnent une sensation franche et précise. Ils permettent également un accès rapide aux réglages principaux.La portée annoncée de 30 mètres en sans fil est réaliste, mais dans de bonnes conditions. Il est même possible de configurer plusieurs groupes (A/B/C) et canaux pour un éclairage multi-flash TTL. En studio ou en événementiel, c’est un vrai plus.Le manuel fourni est globalement claire, mais il faut maîtriser l’anglais uniquement et je n’ai pas trouvé de manuel en français en ligne. Cela dit, avec un bon traducteur anglais/français toutes les fonctions sont expliquées et m’ont permis d’exploiter les capacités du flash.Il offre également plusieurs atouts notables, comme sa puissance qui est entièrement réglable, allant de 1/1 à 1/128 (le mode stroboscopique n’est pas disponible avec les puissances 1/1 et 1/2), ce qui permet un ajustement précis en fonction des besoins de la prise de vue.
J’ai bien aimé aussi l’assistance autofocus automatique, qui s’active dans les conditions de faible luminosité et facilite la mise au point. Enfin, la construction générale est solide et inspire confiance.En revanche, il faut noter que la tête du flash chauffe rapidement en mode stroboscopique (Multi). Au-delà d’un certain temps d’utilisation dans ce mode, une pause est recommandée pour éviter la surchauffe.
De plus, l’interface, bien que fonctionnelle, peut paraître peu intuitive pour un utilisateur débutant et nécessite un certain temps d’adaptation.
Petit précision, le flash a besoin de 4 piles AA (non fournies) pour fonctionner.En résumé, un flash très complet pour les photographes de niveau intermédiaire et avancé, exigeants.Pour les débutants, pas de souci non plus, mais il vous demandera un certain temps pour le maîtriser.Idéal pour ceux qui cherchent une alternative polyvalente aux modèles de grandes marques, notamment pour les boîtiers Canon, ainsi qu’un bon rapport qualité-prix.

Review: Ich besitze eine Canon R6 und mache eigentlich Videos, wofür ich externe Lichter habe. Aber manchmal fotografiere ich auch und ich durfte dieses Produkt testen. Eins vorweg: es hat ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.Mein Freund ist professioneller Fotograf und hat ein originales Canon Blitzlicht, er hat nicht schlecht gestaunt, dass ich sogar einen Sender im Paket dabei habe, bei Markengeräten muss man ihn meistens einzeln kaufen, sagt er. Leider hat der Sender eine leere Batterie mitgeliefert bekommen und meine zweite Batterie, die ich aus einem anderen Gerät nutzte, hat anscheinend zu wenig Saft. Daher habe ich es noch nicht getestet, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass er funktioniert. Das ist praktisch, wenn das Licht aus einer anderen Ecke kommen soll als Frontal und eine andere Person oder man selbst hält, während der Sender auslöst. Super Sache.Das Gerät selber habe ich an meine Canon R6 angeschlossen und beide sind kompatibel miteinander. Was ich gut finde, sind das Gelenk am Blitzlicht und das integrierte Streu-Kärtchen, das nicht gerade groß ist und grösser sein könnte, aber es wurde mitgedacht. Der Auslöser kommuniziert mühelos mit meiner Kamera und da ich kein Vollprofi bin, habe ich meinen Freund gefragt, der hat sich durch einige Modi getestet und gab grünes Licht. Der Blitz erhellt dunkle Aufnahmen oder Gesichter und wertet sie dadurch angenehm fotografisch auf, dabei hat er mehrere Funktions- und Einstellungstasten wie bei einem Profi-Gerät. Auch das Gewicht ist noch angenehm zu händeln, bitte dran denken, dass 4 AA Batterien hinzugekauft werden müssen, diese sind nicht in der Lieferung enthalten.Alles in allem passt es für meine Ansprüche sehr gut und ich finde, dass das Produkt ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat. Für meine Ansprüche als Gelegentlich-Knipser mit Video-Schwerpunkt tut es das Blitzlicht vollkommen. Außerdem wurde eine schöne Samt-Tasche mitgeliefert, die ich nun immer in meiner Equipment-Box verstaue. Klare Empfehlung für diejenigen, die kein Marken-Blitzgerät kaufen wollen.
