Title: PRETTY GOOD
Review: PANDEMONIUMI was going through the collection the other day and came across this cd; since it has been a while I decided to listen to it once again.1.INTRO2.PIMP TALK-the album starts out much different then I thought it would, I thought with a title like it has this album would be all hardcore raps or on the political side. Alas I was surprised when this album started out with this bouncy song about the ladies. G-MAN STAN KEITH produced this track and delivered for this kind of song. And SUGA FREE started this song out real well with his distinctive style and DRU DOWN held down the second verse just as well. But it is the last verse I was looking forward to the most, RAPPIN’ 4-TAY who kills it of course. Over all a good song.4/53.GET THIS MONEY-next up is another happy sounding bouncy song, but this one is the better of the two. In fact this track could have been a really good single for the album; in fact a video for this could have been highly successful. G-Man Stan returns to drop another bouncy, fun, energetic beat. TOO SHORT, E 40, and RICHIE RICH all deliver with their verses and JAMESA sounds great on the catchy hook.5/54.TOAST TO THE-the next track is all about the ladies again, but a little more on the vulgar side. DEVIN THE DUDE kicks things off with a nice verse followed by TWISTA with a good verse. The last verse is by FEL and he holds it down as well over ANT BANKS hard production. Over all a good song on par with the first track.4/55.HOW LIFE-excellent song right here, really one of the best songs on the album. Fel returns on this track along side BLACK ROB, D NELL, and EARL HAYES. Every single person I mentioned above really does an excellent job on this song, especially with the hook. HAPPY-P produced an excellent track, a really sorrowful beat on this track.5/56.BALLER’S NIGHT OUT-the next track is another bouncy production from G-Man Stan. This song features SNOOP DOGG, WARREN G, THE DELINQUENTS, and SOUL REBEL. Every one of them delivers on this track, good song over all. Another fun energetic song for all to enjoy.4.5/57.A.K.RIPPER-this JUVINILE featuring and produced track is an excellent addition to the album, G-Man Stan returns on the guitar. The beat is a dark sounding track to ride to, and all the verses from Juve, Fel and C-NOTE are on point and make this a good song.4.5/58.MAR CHIN-TONE CAPONE drops a nice slow dark beat for B-LEGIT, SCARFACE, and HARM to get down on. Of course all three ride the dark instrumental with ease as all of them are our on these type of tracks all the time. This is one of the better tracks on the album.4.8/59.GOLF COURSE SKIT10.GANGSTA-Happy-P returns to drop an excellent instrumental that gets your head moving immediately. FAT JOE starts it off with a great verse that the east coast vet is known for. ARMAGEDDON hits the second verse that is equally as good as the last, and then he is followed by the west coast legend MC REN. Ren kills this track and sounds right at home on this track with the other two, excellent song.5/511.PANDEMONIUM [AGAINST TERRORISM]-the first of two songs titled Pandemonium, this would be the west coast version since them boys from the bay are on this track. SAN QUIN, RBL, AGERMAN, and KEAK DA SNEAK all hold it down on this song over a very west oriented production from Ant Banks. Good song, and great for systems.4.5/512.RIDER’S RIDE-CAPONE & NOREAGA come threw for this song and lend that grimy east coast flavor to this album along side LIL BIG. Happy-P returns to drop a cool sounding beat for the east coast dudes to rip to. This song over all is a worthy addition to the album.4.8/513.PANDEMONIUM-this would be the east coast version of this track as it features former Bad Boy G DEP, and RAW. Raw kicks it off with a nice verse and proves he deserves to be on this album. G Dep follows with a good verse of his own, still don’t know why Diddy let him go. FATT DADD produced a cool instrumental for them to get down on.4.5/514.GANGSTA-this song features one of my all time favorite mc’s JAYO FELONY. Naturally he kills it with his very distinctive flow over this funky beat by the great BOSKO. D-ROWLIN, SHOE, and BUGZY all hold it down as well on this heavily west coast flavored track.4/515.DO IT 4 THE GANGSTAS-this song is obviously for the gangstas out there and it is a fitting anthem for them to ride to. Happy-P delivers once again with an excellent instrumental, and A,L, and BENNY BLANCO both kill this track with that g bravado.4.6/516.THUG LORDS-all three of the Thug Lordz are on this track, and that would be YUKMOUTH, C-BO, & SPICE 1. all of which deliver with some amazing verses that each deliver with their respective styles. MIKE MOSLEY delivers a very unique sounding yet simple beat for the Thug Lordz to rip to. This track was a good preview of what was to come from this group, good but not great track from them.4/517.RESPECT-this song from the far east is and pretty cool sounding song, though I don’t have a clue what they are saying. DJ DOC kills it I guess and the beat from YOUNG LAE and SKY is cool and bouncy. Cool song.4/5Over all a pretty decent compilation for your listing pleasure.

Title: Good compilation of rappes from all over
Review: As a 15 song compilation you figure there would be some songs you won’t like, but that ain’t the case on this one. Mostly it has a west coast sound and most are west coast artists but a good amount of cats from the south, east and midwest represent on this as well, and a lot of the sogs have people from all over gettin together and it works out pretty good. It has 1 or 2 almost classic material songs, 5 ok ones, 1 I skip (it’s a far east rap song that I don’t understand what they saying) and the rest are good songs. Production is good as well. G-Man Stan & Happy P each do 4 songs, Ant Banks does 2, and Juvenile, Tone Capone, Fat Daddy, Bosco, Mike Mosely, and Young Lae all do 1. A good album to have in your collection.#2 – 7.5 (pimp song — Suga Free, Rappin 4-Tay & Dru Down)#3 – 8 (Too $hort, Richie Rich, E-40)#4 – 9.5 (dirty song — Devin the Dude (another great hilarious verse), Twista, Fel Cognito)#5 – 8 (Black Rob, D Nell, Fel Cognito, Earl Hayes)#6 – 9 (upbeat song — Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Delinquets)#7 – 7.5 (Juvenile, C-Note, Fel Cognito)#8 – 7.5 (B-Legit, Scarface, Harm)#10 – 8 (Fat Joe, MC Ren, Armageddon)#11 – 7 (RBL Posse, Agerman, San Quinn, Keak da Sneak)#12 – 8.5 (Capone, Noreaga, Lil Big)#13 – 8.5 (G-Dep & Raw — nice beat)#14 – 8 (Jayo Felony, D Rowlin, Shoe, Bugzy)#15 – 9 (A.L. & Benny Blanco — nice beat)#16 – 8 (Yukmouth, C-Bo, Spice 1)#17 – 2 (foreign song)Check all my reviews
